But nothing helped. Iknew it had to do with the DRM as Denuvo is mentioned in the error log. but not much can be read about for this on the net either.

I was ready to give up and thats when i saw some strange things with the timing in the logs.
My clock in windows was actually not synced with the live timesync feature. My clock was about 8 minutes after the actual time.
and when i synced the time with windows servers, this issue went away.

My belifes are that the DRM is monitoring time localy and time on server to determine if the client should proceed with game, and if it differs much, it just belive that there are some tampering and just auto close the game.

To adjust the clock in windows: right cllick on clock at start bar -> adjust time and date -> and puch the "Sync" button.

    Hope this helps you. Thanks.
Thank you! This was what resolved the issue for me. I had the exact same problem both with Watch Dogs: Legion and Valhalla. Games would just exit to desktop without any error message after 20 minutes of playing. I had the same thing in the logs. Turns out Denuvo does not like it when your clock is not precise. Mine was 5 minutes behind and after I manually adjusted it the problems went away. Playing for 6 hours now without any issues.

I've been trying for the past week to fix the problem of crashing at around 20 minutes of gameplay, I've just tried this fix of syncing the clock and my clock was indeed a few minutes off.
I've been playing watchdogs legion for about an hour now without any crashes and I will now test if assassins creed is able to run stable.

TLDR syncing windows clock looks like it was able to fix my crashing

Same for me. Wracking my brain to find a way to keep the game from crashing. Thanks, Fantazyz, for the details!
