Keeps getting random crash to desktop

Hello why am I keeps getting random crashes to desktop ? Everything seems fine from the prologue but after entering the spiderbot section crash occurred and keeps re-occurring. I tried to disable the ray tracing and finally can get pass the spiderbot mission but after I choose my first dedsec member I got crashed again. I can't even progress any further because of this crashes.

I too am getting crashes, sometimes I'm not even loaded into a level - I've had a crash while changing graphics setting from the main menu

Seriously Ubisoft? Come on... unbelievable how a blocking level bug made it through even basic testing before launch... wow

I even tried tweaking settings, changing to DX11 (as historically this has been known to stabilise some games having issues with the DX12 API), but yeah its still crashing.
FPS wise its ok actually, just cant get it to run more than a minute without crashing to desktop

I can get through to the character creation screen then crash within a few seconds every time.

    i9 10900k
    GTX1070
    32GB Ram
    Game is on a 6TB M.2

    EDIT:

Changing from DX12 to DX11 seems to have fixed my crashing problem for now

I am also getting these CTD. I've tried all the typical culprits, but i'm guessing its not my computer or any install isues if so many of us are having problems with it.

They are NOT crashes. They don't leave a trace in the Windows event logs, which means it's not a normal crash. Probably something related to the cheat detection stuff.

I'm also having this issue. Weirdly I manged to play the game for about 3 hours and then it started again. It just randomly exits, shuts the game down and returns to ubisoft connect. I wonder if it's something related to connect honestly since I never had issues with Uplay.

Check out the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs\launcher_log.txt" file. I suspect there's a line like this one every time the time the game "crashes":

    Code:
    [21028] 2020-10-29 04:09:31 [ 5960] ERROR DenuvoGetGameTimeTicket.cpp (157) Unknown game response.
Which pretty much explains the reason. DRM breaking things again.
