They'll give us another upgrade on the gunsmith.
Maybe make some optics interchangeable between gun types.
That's it.
I don't expect anything like we've been requesting, like.
Making the character feel less like a turtle when in ADS (Which is critical for CQB)
Overhaul of cosmetics
Correction of camouflage patterns.
Improvement of the team ai
Improvement of the enemy AI
Making the world feel less ******ed.
Making the ballistic and weapon stats more realistic.
Nothing like this.
I would certainly like to see a universal scope mounting system introduced, Suppressors for Shotguns and LMG’s, Bipods for all of the Sniper rifles. I wouldn’t mind having both variations of the Peq box available for all weaponsOriginally Posted by ArgimonEd Go to original post
I certainly feel there is more they could do for the Enemy AI (thats already programmed into the game) which I’ve covered in a recent post
I’m not fussed about them adding more cosmetics just now not until they alter/fix the ones that are already in game. A few small changes to the JPC, AVS, Hills Vest and the Wolves Vest would keep most Happy for a bit, battle belt options are obviously another big one. The only exception would be a rolled sleeve crye top maybe and a proper SF style helmet with All of the added attachments (from El’s post)
Maybe they might finally bow to Ice-Quinn and add more female hairstyles and female specific cosmetics is #braids still a thing?
I don’t disagree, they could definitely do with bringing back the Ex SF guy to consult the Cosmetics department on what a real Operators load out would look like, even if they only re modelled maybe 3 or 4 vests and one or two helmets up I think most people would feel much happier.Originally Posted by ArgimonEd Go to original post
I still think in addition to having the ability to remove the battle belt they need to look at adding other belt options like shooters belts and traditional webbing for more overall variety, a big one has to be moving the pistol holster onto the belt would also appease the fans.
On a side note for pistols I actually think they should remove the suppressor options for most pistols (minus any variants that come pre fitted) this would actually help the current holster feel more believable. They should also look at adding mini red dots as an option
One already happened but they are still going to update the gunsmith.Originally Posted by ArgimonEd Go to original post
The ghost experience update from TU2.0 is one of the best, most impactful and important update of this game.
I feel that the ethos of the ghost experience was to bring breakpoint back to a more tactical and authentic experience, whilst allowing the player to customize the game to their experience.
Carrying on with this theme, the most appropriate updates in this category should be (based on feedback I've seen):
1. Making Auroa feel more alive (including night day behaviors for NPC and Enemies)
2. Expanded AI difficulty (Detection, reaction, lethality, enemy density and variety in response behavior)
3. Customizable options for more survival elements
4. Better dialogue between AI team mates and Nomad calling out markings.
5. Limiting carry capacity and ammo
6. Updates to bullet ballistics
7. Better AI controls (or at least let them follow orders)
8. Helicopter controls
9. Removing belt and holstering
10. Drone options
11. Manhunt mode (Ai in constant alert, drone and helicopter flyovers frequent. Road blocks and petrols looking for you, constant QRF) -
Chill Mode - Sentinel forgot that ghost are even on the island
12.Darker nights
The concern I have is that this upcoming ghost experience update is a minor update according to the version scheme. What I mean is that big updates increment a version from 1.0.0 to 2.0.0. Heck, even AI team mates was 2.0.0 to 2.1.0. New content is typically a whole version i.e. Episode 3 is 3.0.0. The fact that this update is 3.0.3 does not give me confidence. the last number is typically left for bug fixing lol [Major][Minor][Patch]
I’d love to see these changes!Originally Posted by Megalodon26 Go to original post
Number 11 would be absolutely amazing and would actually bring the game a lot closer to what it was meant to be in release.Originally Posted by Capt.Dazzer Go to original post
If they could add a few more tweaks to the Enemy Ai to better support it:
*change patrols from 3 to 8 with a radio operator and medic in the patrol
*greater contact distances with the enemy actively engaging from 200m plus (instead of rushing you)
*firing from the kneeling and prone positions and from cover
*injured enemies pull out pistols
* using basic advance to contact drills (tactical bounds/pairs fire manoeuvre) and flanking
Only other thing I would say overhaul the current fly overs:
Helicopters should be slower and flying an actual flight plan making it feel like they’re actually doing a grid search
The Azrael should also be on an actual flight path across the whole island and should be able to spot you from much greater distances, if spotted the Azrael should then go into a circling pattern whilst silently calling in re-enforcements on your position whilst continuing to track you
On this mode if you do get spotted by an Azrael the QRF should arrive in Two Transport Helicopters each carrying 8 Wolves who then fast rope at your last known position.
If a base radio operator gets a call out it should be 3 APCs tipping up with 24 Wolf dismounts and someone still giving them top cover from the mounted gun (Wolf bases would have Red Wolf Dismounts as QRF)
