What platform are you playing on?
    Xbox One S

What are you doing when the game crashes?
Trying to launch it. It doesnt crash, per se, it just gets stuck on the title screen and does nothing.

Do you have the game saved on your internal or external hard drive?
I dont really know what this means, but Ill assume its saved internally.

Does the games audio cut out for a certain amount of time before the game crashes?
    No.

Do you have any special version of the XB1/How old is your XB1?
Its the Xbox One S, I think. Its white and it has no disc tray. Its about a year old.

When did this crash last affect you? (Exact date if poss.)
    Yesterday.

    -

The game works if I restart my Xbox, but the issue will come up again if I play another game.

    For example:

-I play GTA V, and quit after however long I play it.
-I go to load up Siege
-it becomes stuck on the title screen
-resisting the urge to injure myself, I restart my Xbox
-I load up siege, and it takes around 30 seconds on that title screen, but it will launch.

When it does work, however, it asks me to confirm which of my accounts Im using, which it has never done before. It also displays something in the top right about Ubisoft units or points or something, which it has also never done before.

The title screen, usually, would display for around five seconds or less before the opening credits and animations begin. Now, it takes 30 seconds or more.

BILLYBOB1237265 and Ossetia89 thanks for posting I have added this to our reports.

    Ossetia89 -
Internal drive means you have the game installed to your XBox's original hard drive, external means, you have the game saved on an additional har drive that you may have purchased and plugged into your console for more storage.

PS. Did you use another gamertag to play the game with other than the one connected to Ossetia89, as I cant find the time logged on your Ossetia89 account?

Four days since the last reply.

Due to issues unrelated to this game, I purchased a new Xbox yesterday.

I try to load up siege - and it, yet again, spends about 1-2 minutes on the title screen.

This clearly isnt an issue with my Xbox, as if there was any doubt. Its an issue with Siege.

Sort this nonsense out already before I uninstall this game.

Happening to me on the xbox series x constantly.

I cleared saved cloud data, power cycles, console reset, uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times, moved to external SSD and no luck. Sometimes I get lucky and manage to get further than the load screen and about a minute into a quick match the game will close and return to dashboard.

Edit: further investigation shows that this is not a hardware issue and instead it is ACCOUNT SPECIFIC. This means that if anyone experiencing this plays on another xbox profile the game wont close, its relates directly to specific accounts. I tried today on another profile and the game didnt close on me but as soon as I returned to my main account it closed as per the usual.

As someone who has put ample amounts of time effort and of course MONEY into siege, I really would hope this situation will be addressed with the utmost importance because as a consumer this sort of thing should and will not require wasteful amounts of troubleshooting to rectify. If a title update or patch isnt deployed to resolve this then I assume some sort of save file corruption has occurred with anyone experiencing the same issue.

To confirm I have tested this on 2 other xbox accounts across an xbox one s and series x both of which had siege installed and uninstalled over 6 times along with powercyles, cloud data being re synced whilst using an internal 1th hard drive and a 500gb ssd.

Please pass this information onto the relevant departments as this issue has been ongoing for me now since they deployed the most recent patch October 27th.

    Hey there guys,

Sorry to see you're continuing to encounter this.

We have a guide on this here with steps to try, such as deleting your save to ensure a corrupt save isn't causing issues.

Please also give these troubleshooting steps a try to see if there are any changes, or error codes.

Let us know if you have further questions, thank you!
