I learned today there will be TU 3.0.3 and later TU 3.1.0, and no Year 2 Pass announced yet. Something that MUST improve and SHOULD HAVE been improved a long time ago is the animation of carrying corpses. It is still very slow, Nomad, even though TU 2.0.0 reduced the time for this particular animation, is still very slow. It is still too risky to carry bodies at risk of being detected just because Nomad took too long to do so. And it is even worse if one wants to carry an ally's body away to revive it. I get you intended to give more "realism" to this particular move, but it was a disaster really. Not to mention moving with a carried body is still sluggish doesn't make sense pressing "sprint" button drops the body way faster, the throw is still a joke, the movement is still slow, and the worst part is that it is not possible to throw a corpse over any obstacles, to vault it over. I beg you to fix this!
I actually complained about this first back in CLOSED Beta (July 2019) and on October 2020 this grave issue still persists! https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthread.php/2121935-Carrying-corpses-is-slow-and-broken!-mad?highlight=carrying+corpses
Just look below how Splinter Cell Blacklist, a 2013 game, handles carrying bodies, far more agile and swift. Granted, Sam Fisher is not himself in this game and a little too agile for his age, but even so this mechanic works far better here, and 6 years before Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The Far Cry games since 4 handle carrying corpses much better too... why not Ghost Recon Breakpoint?!
Definitely should be fixed so it is actually viable to pick up a downed teammate, but playing solo I actually never pick up corpses or even feel the need to. It only sets the guards on yellow alert which isn't that dangerous, and it's pretty easy to just kill guards that wander towards the bodies.
It does need to be fixed but it's not actually that big of a problem if you know what you're doing and don't try to play this like a splinter cell game. My best advice is to forget the pick up body button exists. I actually like the realistic take and the main fix I would suggest is the option to drag downed teammates instead of picking them up, that way you wouldn't have to risk the long pick up animation during a firefight.
Also worth noting is I am playing on advanced difficulty with wounds set to always. You really don't need to pick up bodies even on the more extreme difficulty settings.
I'm not a initiate in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you know. Since Closed Beta, though I only bought it at Terminator Live Event period, end of January. 128 hours played, Episode 1 and 2 finished... I stopped carrying corpses very long ago. I briefly resumed carrying corpses after TU 2.0.0, but soon realized how little this plaguing issue improved.Originally Posted by Hexl4 Go to original post
Mostly I do the same as in GR Wildlands: I kill enemy who is away from the others, and prioritize killing the ones around not to raise suspicions. If they are alerted, I do to combat.
