I feel like For Honor would benefit from having cross-play and cross-progression on all platforms. It could be implemented in a way so it's enabled by default but it's not mandatory, meaning it can be enabled or disabled based on the players willingness to use it. At the end of the day For Honor is a fun game but the player base is small and matchmaking takes way to long, so by having all the platforms connected I feel like it would benefit the game overall.

Ubisoft already announced cross progression for many games including for honor. It drops this thursday coming up.

After reading your response I had another look at the Ubisoft Connect announcement and it does list For Honor, I guess I overlooked that.
