Important question, what is the difficulty you set the world on? we had issues that activies not scalling before correctly (if your world was on heroic of league challange on challenging you would get heroic enemies despite selecting challenging) and the reverse of activities such as the world being on hard and the bounty on challenging but still dropped purple.Originally Posted by rye_encoke Go to original post
Cadillac-JackThat's my guess but the problem being the Dev's never listen to squat & as a whole they & massive could care less. Ive played 80 days, however many hours that is. Now I don't play at all. I've logged in three or 4 times but, then go WTF and log off. Something happened several updates ago & I literally do not get squat. I'll save xcel30 the trouble. Yes I have complained on the forum only & never a direct request. I gave up & I have experienced as much or more of what you wrote. I am extremely familiar with the shade of purple of which helped built my library but if one doesn't get a decent drop what the point? Anyway I just ventured over here - carry onSo basically you are saying the reason the game is a buggy mess is the players they've caused the buggy mess by complaining about it being a buggy mess?
This is my thread and picture about my experience on my first ever run of the Summit. The picture is not fake, it is exactly what happened. Throughout the thread, we discovered that there is a glitch when you return to the lobby, your Summit difficulty reverts back to normal. It keeps your directives active, and with my world setting being Heroic and seeing my directives still up at the elevator, I just hit continue without noticing the glitch. I tested it a few times after being made aware of the glitch, and it was happening every time I returned to the lobby. I got purple drops because the glitch set my difficulty to normal when I had done floors 1-99 on Heroic. I was very surprised, confused and disappointed, which is why I made the thread.Originally Posted by nuxbag Go to original post
This is the last time I will mention this. It's funny that people still claim the picture to be false despite my edit explaining what we discovered on the very first post of the thread.
So it wasn't buggy loot RNG, it was buggy programming that reset difficulty without any user input or user notification. I urge you all to check carefully before continuing at the elevator so that it doesn't happen to you as well.
I agree with the others that this game is beyond Massive's ability to manage.
