Thoughts on this?
I have a couple.. It should be possible to prepare strikes and hold them readied while freely moving/strafing/ running- that upon release land instantly with allmost zero animation lag. Dark Messiah does this perfectly, adding even the ability to angle the attack depending on the direction you move while preparing the strike. The way I experience the melee combat since FC primal is that it's as if you're alittle slow in the head. You click, your movement is restricted to a crawl and it feels like moments before the attack is carried out and lands.
In New Dawn, auto-aim for gamepads reenables itself after each startup. Since it crosses over to pc aswell, this limits deliberate movement and aim further. A minimal change but big improvement for FC6 would be for disabled auto-aim to remain disabled ^^
Furthermore-
-It's about time Knockdown effect became a more interactive situation. Make it avoidable with a counter move or a block that works equally well with weapons equipped as when unarmed.
