    Lighting Fog in the Summit?

Is there anyway to reduce the fog from the lighting in the summit in some of the rooms there is so much fog created by the lights you can barely see anything??

    Many thanks.

It is like fighting ghosts , can not see a dam thing, this game has always been over cooked in the effects department .. whoever sees this as a good idea and good for the game should be sacked , all that nice graphics covered with the smoke and mirror trick of lazy programming ..

You could try turning on Neutral Lighting in the graphics settings. It says that it turns off various lighting enhancements. I don't know if it will do much, but it might be worth a try.

It's not fog, it's an environmental effect in some rooms, e.g. when fighting starts the air clogs up with smoke and dust. Sometimes also triggered by hitting pipes, etc. Sometimes also permanent. And yeah, it's pretty over the top. :P

Yeah, it's dust/smoke as some of the rooms will slowly fill up with it during a fight.

I complained about it during PTS, so hope they get around to toning it down if they ever rework the visual environments.

Fog is there to impair your visibility, another cheap way to add difficulty to the game. The higher the level of difficulty, the more fog you get.

Below are a couple of screenshots of the final room in the Arena, the first normal, the 2nd heroic. It is an interior with fixed lighting, so the lighting should not change through the day. The Arena is an original instance, so it is not as bad as the newer instances, with the Summit just cranked up to the point it should be a directive: Stevie Wonder.

It affects the NPC's too, you can hear them shout "I can't see ****". So it both impairs and helps...

I think it's a nice effect when applied well, but in The Summit it's totally over the top.
