More Variation with CQC Kills, Faster Animations
I really love the CQC kills in this game. They are super fun and satisfying and they feel like they have weight to them.
However, unless you're on some sort of uneven elevation, you barely get to see them. And when you are on uneven elevation, the animations are often bugged and your character does not line up properly with the NPC. When you are on a flat surface, you only get to see one or two of the same kill animations over and over again.
In addition to this, some of the animations take far too long to complete. Especially when observing the Karambit - https://gfycat.com/testydownrightgra...klist-karambit - As compared to another Ubisoft Title, the CQC takedowns are begrudgingly slow and often leave you exposed for upwards of 15 seconds.
I would love to see more variation with these animations. The unique ones are super cool, but they are rare to view, since most of the time we are just clearing about enemy bases on flat land. The more unique animations only trigger when on hills or uneven ground, and again, it's usually buggy anyway.
More variation should include being able to view more of the amazing animations at any time. In addition to this, we should see new, faster animations when actually in combat. The slower ones are nice, but in the heat of battle, it's ridiculous to watch and can get you killed. As compared to Splinter Cell Blacklist, combat animations should be quick and to the point.
