Make up your mind then is it a historical simulator or a narrative lore driven game, because your arguing both sides now, if players can choose to skip the md story and you can still play it, why does it bother you .Originally Posted by TaleraRis Go to original post
Interesting perspective on immersion
Isn't of the dangers of prolonged Animus use personality bleed through and psychological ego-damage, so you forget you are in the machine?
We are seeking items left behind by Ancient Aliens and its only through the Modern Day story we would understand them to be Technological and not Divine/Infernal. It might be a change in pace but without the MD component (especially as the justification for not having to restart the game from scratch every time we die!) it wouldn't be an AC game?
Yes, I agree a MD story was needed in the beginning as none of us knew where the AC series was going at the time…Originally Posted by Vervain_ Go to original post
Surely the apple of Eden wasn’t bought in a Crusades supermarket lol, so where did it come from? Is Desmond inadvertently training to become an underground MD assassin? Will we be mainly playing as him in MD times in a future game? You get the idea…
Anyway, after 13 years of games, novels, comics, movies (and who knows what else) we all get the concept of AC and know very well that the potential for a MD game died with Desmond : / As for the MD story itself, it has devolved into getting pulled out of the main game so a doctor can tell us to stretch our legs. Come on…
I couldn't agree more. Either make MD worth playing or make it optional.Originally Posted by MissM16 Go to original post
