I've read that the MD story is back and even though I'm aware a lot of people are fans of it... I'm not one of them.
I've always hated being pulled out of the assassin's story to play the MD story that I don't care about at all. It's so immersion breaking for me.
Do we know if we can skip MD in Valhalla? Even if we can just pop back in the Animus as soon as we're pulled out without having to play as the MD character?
LOL I know, I know... but I don't like it!Originally Posted by AnimusLover Go to original post
Yeah I kinda figured as much but I'm hoping I can at least return to the Animus as soon as possible : /Originally Posted by KmarkoPL Go to original post
I agree, i didn't like being pulled out of the assassin's world as well. i never liked the modern day story, especially in OD, i play the AC games for the past and historical setting's, i know quite a few liked the Desmond Miles story arc, but i played AC 1 in 2007 then didn't play an AC game until Black Flag in 2013, so i never got invested in the MD story, i only completed AC 2, Brotherhood and Revelation's earlier this year, so i have no nostalgic connection to it, but a lot of AC fan's do like it, so a choice maybe at the beginning of the game would suit both sides. if it's possible in the future.
Same reason I play : ) Even though I've played every game consistently since AC1, I was still never able to get into the MD story. A choice at the beginning would be nice but tbh I wouldn't even mind having the option to just get back in the Animus as soon as I'm pulled out. That would make me happy as well.Originally Posted by larrykop1967 Go to original post
Yeah a skip option would be good as well, infact that's more or less what i was doing with Odyssey and Layla etc with the dialogue, i just wanted to get back into the game and their story didn't interestOriginally Posted by MissM16 Go to original post
me or add anything to my enjoyment of the game, it just got in the way for me.
Yeah, the option to skip/not be dragged out to modern day would be great. Ideally a preference so you don’t even get a break in flow at all. Then anyone that still likes to be told what they were just doing by an annoying unlikable patronizing twit can, and those of us who’d rather just play the historical part can too.
