Enemy Ai Updates for future TU’s?

After the introduction of the A.I. Teammates it’s got me thinking about a few small updates they could now do for the enemy AI:

    * Give the enemy the ability to kneel and go prone (if our teammates can do it it shouldn’t be that hard to code it for the enemy)
    * Give the Enemy A.I. better ability to fire from hard cover (their half way there already with them already peeking from cover)
    * Look at implementing basic advance to contact movements like Tactical Bounds and only moving with suppressing fire and using hard cover/prone
    * Look at the possibility of adding Flanking tactics at a later date
    * More Voice lines for enemy soldiers when under contact that make them feel like real soldiers;
“Contact Left/Right/Front/Rear”, target indication and direction, fire commands, “Man down, MEDIC!!!” More info when The Radio operator is calling for the QRF
    * the ability to throw smoke grenades, distraction grenade or gas grenade to cover their advance/withdrawal (they’re already throwing flash and HE so couldn’t be too hard??)
    * when Enemy AI Rock up in Vehicles with mounted weapons keep one of them on the Minigun for suppressing fire, or have them replaced if they’re killed

Most of these mechanics are already in the game so surely can’t be that hard to implement for Enemy AI, At the very least these improvements would make sentinel and the Wolves feel and act like real trained soldiers, it would certainly add a lot to the overall replayability and gameplay mechanics.

What else would the community like to see added for Enemy AI in future updates?

Good luck on getting any of this they are not listening to us.....There busy trying to figure out how to make use pay for another season which should be free for all the crap we have had to put up with them. I used to be one of those people on here that believed this could be fixed but, there silence says it all and there terrible decisions.

It's funny to see that some people still play this game and thinks Ubisoft care about this game.
The game was broken from day one and Ubisoft didn't bother to fix the game during year 1,why do you think they gonna fix it now?

So I’m guessing that implementing the Immersive mode, adding AI teammates back in, cancelling the second Raid, completely replacing Transcendence and upgrading the gunsmith Massively have all been figments if my imagination in year 1?
Did Ubisoft get it wrong on release yes ofcourse they did but to say they haven’t listened and haven’t changed anything is completely off the mark. Yes their continued silence when it comes to bug fixing and updates is almost infuriating at times and I share a lot of the same frustrations as the rest of the community. They still have a real opportunity to turn things around with year two and regain a lot of that initial lost revenue.

Most of what’s suggested above in the OP is already coded into the game so I don’t see why it would be that much of a stretch to add it into the enemy AI’s behaviour patterns?

I’ve never stated they’ve fixed the game completely, yes there are still a lot of issues that need resolving including the fly-overs people still getting booted to the home screen When the game randomly (myself included) The list is admittedly massive.

I’m not saying anyone asked for any of that but I have to believe that there are still people working in Paris who would and could still turn this disaster around. Most people agree that there is still a vast amount of unused potential in the game itself

Their continuing Silence is enraging and almost infuriating most of the time and I completely understand yours and the community as a wholes overall frustration with the way the devs and the studio continue to constant disregard for 2 way communication has soured and down trodden the core fan base, potentially severely damaging any trust in future GR titles.

Part of me hopes that they are planning on a partial TD2 style changes to the IP even if it was just one dedicated person from the studio who could hold weekly/fortnightly/monthly state of the game live streams with Q&A’s And Polls reference future content, Devs plans and ideas

@Stenberg and @indy3737 we could all very easily go on all day slaying how bad Ubi have messed this up so far (there are more than enough threads that corroborate that) but answer me this though, if these updates were made to the Enemy Ai do you think it would change the overall gameplay for the better??

I haven't played the game since the last dlc red patriot and I don't think I will come back to this game only because they update the enemy Ai, is nothing to do in the game just alot of rinse and repeat

I should have been a bit clearer the These Enemy AI upgrades would ideally come as part of a much bigger TU, with more gunsmith options, more realistic cosmetics and a whole new mission set.

I fully understand when you say about it being rinse and repeat, I’m getting to the same point now where if I’m lucky I might put it on once a week for a few hours until the game randomly freezes and kicks me back to the home screen
