I asked about cross-save back in July to a resounding response of... crickets; but I have to say I am extremely happy this is coming, totally buying a second copy of Vahlalla right off the bat, and maybe for legion as well, I would love to see this feature slowly get rolled 'backwards' for other games like older assassins creeds.
Still, a very exciting thing that more game devs need to incorporate into the future.

"Keep your progression on all devices
For our newest releases*, all your game progression is saved within Ubisoft Connect, so you won't lose a step if you change consoles or switch to PC.
*Hyper Scape, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Riders Republic" (Source)
Basically your games saves in Valhalla with carry over from PC to Xbox or PS and vise versa ,,,,, I know that will be a useful feature for you since you already have Valhalla on PC and if you get it for console then your gamesaves on PC will carry over to your console ..... There are some other things like seeing online friends regardless of which system you or they are using and the ability to do online across the PC and consolesOriginally Posted by DreadGrrl Go to original post
It sounds like they will eventually make it work with some older titles but probably only going back as far as Origins and other games from that era but for now it's just for the newest games like Valhalla, Legions, Fenyx Rising, etc.
Thank you for sharing the details.Originally Posted by Aloninor Go to original post
My sons and I play Destiny 2 together, and being able to play the game on three different platforms with the same save data is spectacular. #1 son and I prefer Xbox, while #2 son (the “Mini-Boss-Slayer”) prefers PlayStation.
I’ve got the free AMD version of Valhalla coming for PC. I had pre-ordered the Ultimate edition for Xbox (what I pre-ordered for Odyssey), but I cancelled the pre-order as I’m not really sold on Valhalla at this point.
It’s nice to know that if I decide to invest in the Xbox version that my save data will carry over. It makes it much more likely that I will buy the Xbox version, too. I prefer console gaming, and if I love Valhalla I’d much rather play it on my couch in front of my big TV.
It looks like we were typing at the same time.Originally Posted by longjohn119 Go to original post
It will be very useful for me.
I’ve got one game with cross-save that doesn’t work on every platform, it just works in pairs of platforms. I’m thinking it is Anthem, but don’t quote me on that. Destiny 2’s cross-save works on all three major platforms. It sounds like we’re going to get the three major platforms at minimum, so that’s very exciting.![]()
