Note: This is my experience so may be different for others
I know there is a update with:
Fixed an issue where Targeted Loot drop chance was too low when playing with active directives in The Summit.
But doing that place without directives is really bad, all i get is non stop (mods) dropping.
It was so bad i had to double check that i have set it for (Hard Wired Loot)
Done 7 floors and got a total of 3 Hard Wired pieces and around 8-9 Mods.
Deffo not a good place to farm, CP's seem to give more loot and better rolls, problem being now is that a vast majority of the map is taken now with green gear.
I really do think they should change that and give maybe 1-2 targeted green loot places but give the option to change what set you are targeting.
Again just my experience, things may change but until then i think CP's are a better source of loot.
I got like 10 pieces of Hard Wired from a control point last night. All 6 pieces and multiples of a few. Took less than an hour.
Was trying for Hanu U in the mission assigned to it but I get like 3 drops total in the whole mission. None of them Hanu.
The loot drop scaling for solo players is broken. A team of 4 can run that mission and get 20-30 drops each and have a pool of 120 or more pieces to trade back and forth. A solo player is lucky to see 5 pieces total.
Mission loot drop scaling needs fixed. The number of drops should not even scale. It should be the same for every player. No matter how many are on the team.
As far as i'm aware only the directives is bugged, that should not effect how many drops you get without them...and drops are very low....i thought missions was bad when it comes to drops but The Summit makes them look like gold mines.Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post

Oh my it gets even better, no shi* sherlock, it's obvious more players = more loot....that is not the point.Originally Posted by sejuice Go to original post
And you say go back to school......LMAO.....Oh dear.....what is this world coming too![]()
I actually disagree with this, since it's not really fair to the players who are teamed up. Each person is putting in effort, and more loot should drop since they are fighting more enemies at scaled up damage and hitpoints relative to group size.Originally Posted by mckrackin5324 Go to original post
However, I don't believe that it should simply be multiplied by 4 for 4 players.....UNLESS....loot can not be traded. That's the salt in the wound, to me. It's just one more oversight that the devs didn't think about for solo players. Especially when it comes to hunting down exotics.
Seriously?Originally Posted by sejuice Go to original post
Four players get way more than 20 times the drops EACH. There are not 20 times more NPCs. It's 5 pieces solo compared to 100 pieces in a group. Literally. Are you suggesting there are groups of 20 playing the game?
The drops in the open world are fine. Missions are not. I ran a stronghold last night and got 3 items to drop. THREE.
