Sure we could play a few rounds. I went back and played on Xbox again last night before bed. It was... strange...

I felt like the wins I got largely relied on light attacks not being reactable. I felt like my losses were largely dependent on others abusing some unreactable BS. The game felt too easy when I won, and too stupid when I lost.

Did PC For Honor just ruin me?

I prefer the consistency of console gaming, but as I previously stated, 30fps just doesn't cut it. That, and the input lag was very noticeable suddenly.

After I got bored though, I tried PC again, and played the same way I was playing on console, and performed quite well. I'm not exactly sure what's happening. Perhaps I just wasn't really paying enough attention before that? I dunno... further research must be conducted.

Ultimately, I think the best version of For Honor is yet to come with Next Gen Consoles. I think that hybrid between PC standards and console consistency will be the best experience for the game, but we will have to wait and see.

It's a bit of a rough transition but as someone who made the switch when ccu dropped the whole "win cause lights go brrr" doesn't last very long. Wasn't long before I started finding people who could block and even parry that because it's predictable behavior.

Interesting. Yeah I'm still rep 0 on PC and I was getting matched against people between reps 100 and 200. I believe this was due to the fact that I was undefeated for a few hours straight, but that's to be expected since I was fighting against new players. I'm not a huge fan of the matchmaking formula.

Maybe I should just give it some time, but really, I bought the laptop for other purposes, and this was just supposed to tide me over until I get an Xbox Series X anyways. At least I know my tv can go 60+fps (last night I was actually clocking 72fps on my 55" tv.)

There are still somethings that are difficult to defend against for me. Namely heros who have access to 400ms attacks. But that's intended. If anything the biggest issue that was created by the CCU was people dodging out of offense on indicator constantly. But I believe we've discussed this at length already. As it stands even though my PC can push 100fps on FH with low settings I still prefer console atm even despite the input delay problems. Simply because I have to actually focus to block someone out who's just doing repeated pokes from neutral. Where as on pc blocking a neutral light is almost as easy as it was pre ccu.

See, this is where I got frustrated with PC For Honor. I couldn't believe how many players could parry, let alone block, my neutral light attacks. It seemed cheesy. At the same time, on console, it's almost too easy to connect.

PC defense is too easy. Console offense is too easy now.

Still just gonna wait for the hybrid between the two. Next Gen. Lol
