Today i hunkered down for 6 hours of game play and experienced 3 intense dust storms that only the people of Phoenix, AZ would be proud of. I mean, I love the weather effects in the game but sometimes there's too much of a good thing. After doing some research, the last dust storm to hit Metro DC occurred in March of 1935.
Be careful out there agents. It's a crazy world.

Ha! Thank you for looking up. I have been thinking about doing so for some time.Originally Posted by Slaytanic77624 Go to original post
Yeah it's weird it doesn't seem to be explained in anyway and pretty much stops play. In Fallout 4 there are rad storms, but they are explained by the nuclear blast that occured near the city of Boston. Not aware of any explanation in game to say why the weird weather.Originally Posted by Slaytanic77624 Go to original post
Amazing how a little tidbit like this can send you down a rabbit hole of info! I never knew about this or the severity of the Dust Bowl storms, but it is very fascinating! The pictures of the storms are incredible, if not a little scary.Originally Posted by Slaytanic77624 Go to original post
Thanks for the cool little bit of info! I will leave a picture of the real dust storm that last hit DC. I might try to recreate it later in-game. :P

Wouldn't it be hilarious if a bunch of hostiles got caught in a tornado and flew up into the sky, but what would really happen is they would be strolling around gunning players down as they do with no problem while we are hanging on for dear life.Originally Posted by VampiricVulpix Go to original post
