Several Input Binding bugs on a PS4 controller (wired connection)

    - No obvious way to clear an input. This results in conflicting inputs that are impossible to solve. For example, L2 is mapped to Brake by default, but I want it assigned to Camera 3. This results in L2 being mapped to both controls which would conflict with each other when trying to change camera with this input.

    - Game does not recognise the dpad in the input bindings menu, so it cannot bind steer left and steer right to dpad left and right.
    - Worth noting that the dpad does work in the regular menus however, it just can't be bound to proper game controls.
-Note that the link for this issue in the "Please look at known issues list before reporting an issue!" thread is dead.

Hey, I can certainly investigate this for you to see how it can be improved.

As it currently stands, I believe every important function wants to be assigned to a button / trigger. What would your suggestion be to improve the current key binding system?

Apologies for the D-Pad link no longer being valid. I can assure you that the discussions about this topic are still open, we understand it was possible in previous Trackmania games. We will let players know once we know more!

Turns out I had missed the "Unbind One Button" option near the top. Personally I'd either have a "Clear" button available in the "Press the new key for <>" prompt, or auto clearing it if you bind the same input to the same action a second time. But as it stands I've got that issue sorted out at least so it's not that big of a deal.

Thanks for the update and for the feedback on how some buttons can be clearer!

We'll pass this on, if there's anything else we can help with just let us know!
