Yep. Bought this game a week or so ago to play on quest 2 with buddies who've played on Q1. Nothing but issues as others have described.

Unfortunately we spent several hours trying to fix the issues to get a good game in before realising it was a widespread bug, so I'm well past the refund window.

A workaround is to use Link, but then you face mic issues, uplay issues, device not found issues, etc.

    Unplayable

Just wanted to add my voice to those feeling defrauded by this game on the Oculus 2. Have tried to play 5 times with friends, have encountered fatal difficulties each time, including:

    • Mic / communications cutting out
    • Controls not working
    • Stuck in an infinite warp

    Unplayable

4 players here with Quest 2, the game simply won't work at all.
No combination of Captains, game host, or roles fix the issues:

    Captain stops talking.
Buttons on any consoles become unresponsive.
Captain freezes or see things different to other players.

    Totally broken for Quest 2.

I told my friends and family not to buy this game.

When I read the comments everywhere about the Quest 2 problems, my group decided to buy another game for multiplayer. As I can see Ubisoft has fully abandoned this game and Oculus Store won't remove the game from the Store. So I guess it is time to move on and never buy a Ubisoft game ever again.

Not working on Oculus quest 2

    Hi,

This is a game that is good in multiplayer. I purchased it to play with my friends that Have an oculus Quest 1, and one that is playing with its computer.

In preparation for playing with my friends, I did the full tutorial which is more than 1h15 long…

Then, I did a single player game to learn how to play.

Then I tried to play in multiplayer… IT DOESN’T WORK !!!

I’ve tried to search for work around and I found this post

I tried to get a refund from Oculus and they said no because I was 2 hours in the game

GRRRRR ! This is frustrating, I will try to appeal the Oculus decision but for god sake fix the game !

    True story...

What’s happening now is people are asking if others are using Quest 2 in the briefing rooms and that’s getting them kicked or being asked to leave. Once the Quest 2 user(s) have left, everything runs smooth.

This is true. Purchased this the yesterday. First briefroom I entered, was asked to leave. 2nd room, 2 players left after asking me what system I was using. Heart was broken, returned the game.

over two hours, can't return now

I discovered that they will not give a refund if you have played more than 2 hours.. I have played about 1 hour, with another 3 hours of reboots and trying to fix the damn thing.... oh well.. I *hope* they actually do release a patch. I bought the Q2 *just* for this game.

    Abandoned

Shame.. the game is abandoned by Ubisoft for Quest 2. Not so much as a peep from support on a fix..

This link has been posted in MULTIPLE of these threads. Please stop asking for videos at this point, review the footage, put on a Quest 2 headset and test the game yourself. I guarantee you will run into the issue yourself, if not in your first mission then in your second.

Here is the links in case you need them yet again
