You realize conq cannot feint so really his zone is his only viable defense option. Plus it barely does any damage.

Conq feints heavies with full guard. Full guard guarantees an attack.

Heavy attacks have superior block. Thats defense followed by free damage.

Dodges have superior block. Thats defense followed by a free bash followed by free damage and chain starters.

Zone has superior block. Thats defense followed by free damage.

I'm convinced you just purposely say stupid things to aggravate people, and you specifically target me because I always call you out for your stupidity.

I hate to say it cuz I'm always nice to ppl but Nydardoloth is acting like attention kid and sadly is not giving anything smart. Judge me but this forum needs a smart ppl and proper feedback not trolls

Conqueror is probably the closest thing I have to a main I can definitely understand the frustration being on the receiving end of a Conq who abuses the zone. The damage is paltry but damage all the same but it is just so incredibly safe and disruptive it can easily knock an opponent out of their flow and then they have to expect and respect it too much. I always assumed his unique zone was to compensate the Conq for the inablity to feint heavies but its not like he is short on soft feint options.

I would definitely be okay to see it tested before removing the superior block property because it sometimes does feel a necessary tool in an anti-gank situation since Conqs offense is quite "focused" on his target and he has quite limited range... but it could be that I have just been spoiled being able to use it to almost guarantee me some breathing room minus unblockable spam.

Maybe even try removing the ability to be able to feint or cancel the second swing allowing players to be able to react to it at least and get a parry if they play their cards right. That or maybe removing the superior block quality on his heavies but this thread is about the zone and I wouldn't be mad if it was looked in to.

Why is it I and anyone else can walk in on a Conc all day regardless of his rep, drop guard left and parry his zone where you come to the forum crying like it’s impossible? Oh, and ‘according to you’ someone of rep 2 has the exact same skill as someone of rep 70 so stop trying to position a skill card, your just a goof and so is your tadpole gargling goat in the rubber boots.

I’m sorry your embarrassed that something so easy is pointed out to you, it’s called learning. Now learn to drop your guard to the left instead of bum rushing a Conc who continuously zones and enjoy some moderate success against the silly move.

And again I’m not looking for friends amongst a batch of online bully’s, if the combined mental capacity of your group can’t push a plastic thumb stick westwards there is no hope for your DNA, please don’t reproduce any offspring. Stick with the goat, and rubber boots, and gargling.

Since you are extremely stupid, I will detail everything for you. Or more importantly, to the readers who have some working brain cells, because your opinion is quite insignificant.


Conqueror has multiple defense options, and a good one who is not as mentally disadvantaged as you are will use them all. The zone is only beaten by one thing: feint into counter- it beats any attack on any timing and direction-based softfeints. It beats guardbreaks. It beats bashes. So, if you exect the move, an empty hardfeint is all you can do- this means you have to be ready for such a simple move any time during a mixup. And at this point, we did not speak about how you can parry with this, how you have at the very least 5-6 other defense options, and I won't even go into how spacing with it works, because your tiny brain would surely explode. So yes, if someone as dumb plays the Conqueror and only zones, everyone will beat the **** out of him, but the move itself is toxic.

Since you clearly demonstrated your lack of intelligence countless times, I ignore you from this point. I advise everyone else to do the same.

Not once did I say "a rep 2 is the same skill as a rep 70".

What I said was between two players, one being rep 2 with a specific hero, and the other being rep 70 with that same hero, if the player with 2 reps on that particular hero is better than the other at the game in general, then the rep 70 will still lose.

Example.

Me, a rep 277 overall, fights a rep 70 overall. Their 70 reps are all on a single hero. I have 2 reps on that same hero, but because of my 277 overall, I make way better reads and parry more consistently.

I win because I am better at the game as a whole.

Your entire arguement was that someone who has 2 reps on a hero IS NOT CAPABLE of beating ANYONE ELSE who has 20+ reps on the same hero, regardless of overall skill in the game.

I'm just going to leave this thread with that for everyone to see how blatantly stupid you are.

I think more and more that rep is almost insignificant after a certain point. 2 rep is not too much, but if you play a hero up to 10 reps in a game mode, you pretty much unlock everything that can be unlocked- muscle memory for mixups, spacing, punishes, matchups. Getting anything from that point is rare and usually comes from an outer source: I learned more about BPs from GM videos and from strong opponents (while playing a completely different character) than I did from my additional 20 reps. Having 70 reps really solidifies your muscle memories, but an overall better player with the necessary technigal knowledge will still have the advantage. Rep 70 means one thing: that player really, really likes that hero.
