During the tech test you were able to put colors like plaid on any piece of equipment. Boots, headsets, gloves, etc. I have no idea why this was taken away. It just proves to limit the customization we can do. I'd really like to see this make a comeback - A greater diversification of which colors can be put on all gear.
As previously posted by many others, there needs to be a huge overhaul of female face options. They need to actually look female, and we need to actually have feminine hairstyle options. It's been long enough with the poor selections we currently have.
Hey, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I can absolutely raise the plaid (and other colors) options with the team.
With the customization for the female character (especially the hair) this is something we have already forwarded to the team, I also wish we had more hair options!![]()
The plaid options were specifically removed from "inappropriate" items with Title Update 2.0. Hopefully due to the disgust expressed by the community over the horrendous clown-ification of what was supposed to be an "authentic" spec-ops experience.
Soop, if authentic military appearances are not your preferred aesthetic, perhaps try looking into another franchise.

Crock, if you're going to look for an authentic spec-ops experience, perhaps search elsewhere.
Expanding the plaid colors to the rest of available equipment wouldn't be any more ridiculous than what we currently have.
I don't disagree with you THIS game is absolutely not anything that could even jokingly be referred to as an "authentic" experience. But for the last 16 months the community has been trying to help refocus the franchise back to it's less clownish roots.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not against player freedoms. But this franchise that this game claims to be, this genre this game claims to be, doesn't and shouldn't support plaid ballistic helmets, just as much as it shouldn't support welding masks and capes or pink and gold guns. I am against players encouraging a game that's already in an identify crisis to adopt further out-of-genre gimmicks, especially ones that ask to undo some of the specific progress made in this regard.
Breakpoint kind of disproves this. :POriginally Posted by Mister Soop Go to original post
Paris doesn't do "in addition to" they do "in place of" and that certainly hurts everyone's gaming experience here.
To be clear, if Paris had delivered on what it advertised. If it had delivered on a Ghost Recon, I would be fully supportive.
My point is that it can be in the game and not hurt your experience. You don't have to look at it or use it. Meanwhile, it can benefit the experience of others.Originally Posted by CrockfordCK Go to original post
