Free and seamless transition for current console players

    https://forhonor.ubisoft.com/game/en...-next-gen-plan

"If you currently own For Honor on PS4 or XBox One, your profile, including all purchases and inventory is automatically shared with its Next Gen counterparts (ex: PS4 and PS5)."

Why is this still not a feature for all platforms? Ubisoft accounts are multiplatform but all the content linked to the account is not? Unless its for consoles? I get that this might be done using Xbox Live and whatnot but there is no way this is not easily achievable through Ubisfot Club/Uplay as well. You could even just let console players link their accounts to the Uplay store. Why don't we have Uplay accounts that have links to steam, xbox, ps4, etc. and merge all the content that way? I have an insane amount of cosmetics and progress on console that I would love to have merged to my PC account.

It passed some ages since your last post hehe welcome

I think is forbidden canadian, by sony and microsoft to do such actions, it can be done easily, but multiplatform sharing of accounts is forbidden , cause you know it will affect sales, agreements, greed etc.I did a little research years ago, it can be done but the corporations would not allow that.

Well, Ubisoft themselves are at least preparing for cross progression.

As Mayan said, the big opponents are Sony and Microsoft. That being said, Call of Duty: Warzone has cross progression so maybe it's just a case of when rather than if, as even Sony's notoriously anti-cross platform stance has loosened up in recent times. (Although mostly in terms of crossplay rather than cross-progression but, given the Warzone example, it's not dead in the water..)

But Ubisoft are definitely preparing to pull the trigger on it. I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement for cross-progression around the time next-gen drops, probably early next year.

It's likely an issue with playstation. They're usually pretty against this kind of stuff. But even they are loosening up a little. I think cross play with FH is inevitable. Progression on the other hand i'm not sure.
