I don't think they're going to do that. I've been trying to looking around online and apparently, this game is dead. There's no customer support, no blog, no dev' response, nothing. Entirely NOTHING AT ALL.

I don't think so, they can't even fix the current game breaking problems on the quest 2

Yeah agree. No updates, bug fixes or anything for ages. They're even removing features now like the voice commands instead of improving it. It's almost certainly abandonware now.
And to think this game is the reason why the stage 9 fan project that was to include VR was killed off so it didn't have what they saw as a competitor
(Because of course you can't have two games in a much loved franchise existing together.)

Gamebreaking Bugs Abound Like They Designed Them To Be There
From the bugs our crew has experienced (all detailed by others in this forum, so not unknown to Ubisoft/Red Storm, and now this week includes the mysterious "error code 12"), indeed it seems that the sin of abandoning a promising social and strategic game with potential for scalability and long-term profits is just fine with them. I cannot tell you how much that upsets all of our crew. Certainly opens up the field of VR game development wide for someone who is competent and knows how to really develop and not just grab the money and run. When competitors hear/experience these issues, it really informs their moves going forward. Too bad they have done this to customers who have a memory.

We need to know
We honestly need to know if the game has been full on abandoned or not, maybe they could be making a star wars bridge crew or maybe a new star trek bridge crew? I dont know but a update or new game would be nice.

What else do you need to know? The game is dead as dead. Ive spent 10min on here and can tell they dont check forums at all. That should be clear by the escort and porn links that arent removed. When game released there was not the anticipated explosion of VR users. Only now with the Quest 2 is it becoming viable to make games. Hopefully they make sequel. That may happen if VR users equal 10% of steam users for example. That in addition to PSVR and Quest might be enough $$ to motivate Ubi.
