    Seriously?
It all depends on player response.

Maybe instead, Xbox One and PS4 players will stay in their current player pools, while Series X and PS5 players can possibly crossplay with each other, and maybe even PC (if the next gen consoles can indeed close the gap between console and pc play enough to be fair)

For Honor on PS5 should technically be able to run in 120FPS in 1080p for those who want that. Another way would be a setting to unlock the FPS in the 4k mode, but I don't know if Sony allows such things. However I don't think this makes or breaks potential cross play with PC. The difference between 60FPS and 120FPS is 8ms, where as the step from 30FPS to 60FPS is around 17ms. It's also a bit of a myth that all PC gamers have insane rigs and run the game at 240FPS.

We don't know yet how well the internal hardware latencies improve with the new consoles generation, but a safe guess is that they will improve by a fair bit.

    Likelihood of Cross-play?

With the announcement of 60FPS coming in December 2020, have there been any discussions or plans about the consideration of Crossplay?

For honor is a unique game, which keeps me engaged heavily in the gaming world and maintaining my subscription to Xbox Gold, as well as purchasing season passes.

Unfortunately the For Honor Oceania community is quite small. Finding games average between 5 to 12 minutes, which is unacceptable to most gamers and causes them to walk from the game. When games are found, I find I am versing the same people I have been versing since I started playing July 2017.

I feel cross console play for, For Honor is vital to maintaining loyalty from the community and ensuring the longevity of the game that we all hope for. It would also present opportunities for a cool new season, where some sort of Universe guardians are destroyed in a series of events, leading to alternate universes (crossplay) merging and becoming the one universe.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

I feel you Kev & agree we should get cross play. It makes sense. We all want the game to keep going.

The CCU update made me quit for like 15 days but then I came back & started a new char [Kensei] & immediately dropped $20.on steel so I could buy a mask outfit & executions lol.

I woulda bought the battle pass if it was better. I bought the first but I havent felt like the last 2 were worth it.

But yeah, let’s go for the upsell with the promise to do better after everyone pays for a new console. *facepalm*
I mean, better hardware typically means increased capability, so it kinda makes sense, yeah?

This generation of console just didn't cut it for what for honor wanted to be. The game was limited by the hardware.

Let's just be happy it's moving to next gen and the game will continue being supported.

Remove reputation cap from all heroes

Could the hero reputation cap be removed completely so progression isn't halted when your hero reaches a certain level?
