i must admit that with each new "mistake" & change for the worse, you push me farther & farther away from wanting to play this game.

one would think that with the issues Ubi is having corporate-wise & the constant **** ups by Massive's "development"/direction with each update, they'd realize they're not encouraging one to engage with their product.

you'd think with all your issues you would realize that putting out halfass, lazy af quality content would not be the intelligent path to take.

yet here we are.

you will 100% become a case study for how to absolutely ruin your own project/game.

i once praised you at every opportunity for your attention to detail, your extremely high quality world/graphics, and an amazingly dynamic world.

then you flushed all that down the toilet when you dumbed down the game for casuals... i mean for the expansion... and now it's in a constant state of FUBAR compared to where it was in the april after launch.

it is a shame & such a MASSIVE disappointment. you should be embarrased & ashamed at the lack of quality you are producing compared to the level we know you are capable of.

the summit is completely disappointing on every level. a TOTAL let down. the lack of effort put in isn't even amateur quality. many of us could do better modding your game on no budget than you are doing with your budget.

might i ask how you thought your reply cultivates a discussion?
i mean is this the depth of your thoughts on AAAAAll the issues?

it's not as if anything i said isn't accurate or factual.

anyone who has played this from the march/april release to now can undoubtably see the difference in quality & just basic effort.

they're repeating the EXACT SAME SEASON "EVENTS" every season. gtfoh

this is a live service remember... not just a game. can anyone tell me what makes this a live "service?" providing regurgitated content again & again & again & again & ...

seriously, did ubi switch ubiparis with massive? if not how to explain the complete lack of quality. just stop in the summit & look around. do you see quality in the seams that they couldn't even be bothered to line up correctly? how about the regurgitated level designs.. all 5 concepts.

where has the quality gone?
where has the attention to detail gone?
where in the f are your personal & professional standards?

save me the white knight stuff & the let's defend a corporation who exists to provide us with content. let us have a real conversation rather than a tit for tat back & forth my feelings are hurt. let's have a real chat about what is going on & why? and, why is there this sudden industry standard of take it or leave it? and, why is it being tolerated by us the consumers/supporters.

like why is a live service regurgitating the exact same content? what is live about that? how is it not as lazy & effortless as possible?

I am in agreement here. I am also wondering, why continue to beat the dead horse? These topics are hate-fodder and appear to seek specifically to stir a pot of fury. To what end? As long as people are here to feed the fury Ubisoft will continue to make its money.

You really want to take a stand? Take your money and go. Seriously. Don't play it. Don't talk about it. Let the forum die. If even half the people that come here to complain quit their complaining and actually left then the message might actually be heard. Until then, let the rest of us play the game without needing to be constantly harassed by the haters. New players can't even ask a simple question in this forum without someone posting about how "broken" the game is and "why bother". It's disgusting and disgraceful.

1: i'm the founder of a clan. so if i don't log on periodically they'll take my clan that i built up by spending my time answering calls for backup, well before there was ever a shepard system in place, & recruiting ingame person by person.

2: i just updated to the calamity... er summit update like 3 days ago. never did the manhunt for the dumbarse trap.

3: heard the reward for the "new" manhunt was a shrapnel aka explosive trap. intrigued.

4: realized it was apparel event time. i'm an apparel ***** in games, who doesn't want more options? seriously, why would you not? irl... not so much, that's just more to have to be responsible for.

5: this was my favorite game. 30+ yrs of gaming & this was the best imo. the attention to detail... notice the bees & dragonflies? actually typing on kb, touchscreens, control panels. the rain drops in the water puddles when it rains. the children reacting to emotes in the settlements.

the settlements! and actually having a hand in the rebirth. AND you could even see the progress being made with lessons learned from the artificial takers we are now. we actually shaped the world & get to see it change with our actions. why did they abandon all that? why no castle reclamation? why no settlements in nyc? why not expand on that? rescue the bee guy & see the bee hives & honey become a part of the community.

so it's not the game that i have a problem with.

it's the people who are now destroying it with each new decision.

with each & every "patch/update/TU."

with each problem, bug, glitch, that has existed in the game & they've been made aware & they don't fix immediately. they fix them only when it suits them. that's not live service.

that's the opposite of live service.

you came here of your own free will. so don't be that guy/girl.

you could have checked it out & left.

the thing about freedom is that it applies to all. you 100% have the right to what you want. but, you also must understand that that applies to everyone else as well.

i do agree though with what you're saying. the only way to send the message loud & clear is to take the ultimate stand. refuse to participate. opt out of the corrupt systems that besiege us fully every single day. the problem with that theory is that in practice it matters not unless there is a significant number joined in agreement & willing to also make that stand.

Don't do something because you want others to join you. Do it because it's what you want to do. If it sparks others, so be it. If it sparks change, so be it. If you are really convinced of your opinion, follow through on it, but to stand on a soap box and yell, "I want to go, but I can only go if everyone goes with me" is weak.

I used to play Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, a lot. I had enough of the steaming pile it had become and left. I didn't post about it, I didn't try to get others to leave...I just left. I didn't care if anyone else left, and I'm sure it didn't spark any change with the developers, but here is the thing with that...it doesn't matter. I'm not associated with it anymore.

The Division is not at that point for me yet. However, I'll decide when the time is right for me, not because a random person on the internet wants me to join their crusade.
