We can manage most of the rogues encounters, but every time it feels like we are throwing stones while receive ICBMs in our heads in return. It's tedious, stressful, unbalanced, unrewarding, in short an completely useless activity which I would be very glad to not have to do anymore. If we'll have the option to be able to block rogues somehow, I'll be the first to do it. At least, until they'll change something, either their super-human behavior or substantial reward that worth the time and effort.

I haven't had any trouble with rogues yet but I've only seen a few and always in normal mode. I've never seen one in heroic or anything.

If they get scaled way up, I'd just as soon pass. Long drawn out fights for some high end gun is not worth my time.

And you can't compare a situation in which 5 rogues spawns at control points where you have 5 vs 12 agents + civilians, with situation in a mission, for example, where you have 5 overpowered/overskilled rogues that benefit of all advantages in game vs 4 overwhelmed agents that "benefit" of all limitations in game.
Not to mention that civilians only equipped with a low tier vest can tank way more effective against NPCs, rogues included, than us that are dressed in cardboard and toilet paper. In an open world 1 vs 1 situation with a rogue you can stand at most 5 seconds before you are disintegrated, if you don't have some cover.
what? there is literally no faster way to get that amount of loot in like 2 or 3 minutes.
maybe if you try to solo in your healer build it takes ages

where in this game do you not have cover?

but now i am an entitled dev loving white knight for suggesting to maybe adjust your playstyle to the situation given to you. sorry for trying to help by sharing my opinion and experience of currently only 867 hrs of TD2

Yes, there are faster and better ways to be rewarded, even if you aren't aware of them. And an encounter with rogues doesn't last just 2-3 minutes on Heroic in a group of 4, it lasts way more time. When, or if, you'll be doing once in this way, maybe you figure it out how is this. But let's do what we know best, you'll keep doing rogues, the rest of us we'll do better rewarding and less frustrating activities. Win-win

You could let them kill you or you can just run away, since we have unlimited sprint.

Yeah, but, you see, at every encounter you hope this time will be different and they will finally drop something useful, so...
And you end up empty handed like a thousand times before. Disappointing, indeed.

Rogue agent.. they are a bit harder in mission.. that's true. But, just one CC build and it become a piece of cake. At CP even heroic with directives... they are easy as pie.. last time i destroyed both of 'em under 3 min.
Like the japanese says here... GANBATTE KUDASAI!

Solo is one thing, in group of 4 is completely another thing. At CPs is one thing, in Legendary strongholds or even in Heroic missions is completely another thing. Legendary stronghold in group of 4 = rogues are scaled through the roof. You should try to convince yourself

If we're to get Rogue options, can we get one that increases their frequency? Rogues and Hunters are my favorite.

In open world rogue are Easy, very Easy.

Problems are their loot , that Is the same boring loot of every day.

I think that rogue should drop a "unique" item, like a "token" for roll the secondary attribute ,or things like this.

For example,If kill the rogue, he can drop 1 token, that you can use( and After Is gone) for roll a second attribute in a piece .
Or you could use 2 token to roll talent ,if you have change 1 attribute yet.
