    FS hasn't changed.
That's what I've been preparing myself for. I just don't understand why this game, GRO, looks exactly like what FS was described to be, but has a different name. And seeing as how it is so much alike, why is a different team developing it? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

The only thing you see the same is the cloaking thats it.

I see cloaking and I see the use of EMP's, two of the gadgets said to be in FS. The mere fact that cloak is in the game means that there is a good chance many other future gadgets will be in.

There were about 4 classes that were going to be in GRFS. I can spot at least 3 different classes in the trailer. I think I see a 4th but I never see him use his gadget. I see the cloak, emp, and shield. I never see the 4th guy use his gadget, drones maybe?

As Inquisitor_Zeal was saying, what's the reason for us to buy GRFS when GRO is free? I don't expect (what was) GRFS to be the same the next time it we see it. It'll be interesting to see how all this plays out.

FREE?... will it be good? Does Ubisoft really care for its customers?.... because It's my first time playing Tom Clancys Ghost Recon

I was quite excited when I read about this yesterday.

To me Third-Person-Shooters are slightly more fun than First-Person-Shooters. And even though I enjoyed Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 a lot as FPSs, I was always hoping to see a 3rd-person verison of them.
GRO might be that game. However, I'm not sure if the Future-Soldier elements (cloak, EMP, Shield-sprint-thing) aren't too casual for the whole IP.

Definately looking forward to it as a F2P, though.

Ghost Recon Online is a PC only game, the beta access you have via SC Conviction is for GR Future Soldier on Xbox360, different game, different beta

I know, I just like to rub it in.
Xbox players have been waiting a year now on the promised Beta.
So how come PC got the first taste?

Its a free to play micro transaction game. They solely exist on PC ( to my limited knowledge ). Transferring them over to Xbox or PS3 would require paying royalities on the initial release and/or all transactions after than. These sorts of games don't work on closed systems like PSN and XBL.
