That was a really weird moment ...because i just wanted to talk to her but obviously i couldn't.

But yeah when you are done with the quests missions you cannot talk to them anymore and that's to bad.
Unfortunately, this does not happen only with Phoibe, but with all the characters who know the bearer of the eagle when we run into them in the open world. Most of them do not even say the name of the eagle bearer (Kassandra / Alexios). When you understand Greek, things get even stranger. Hahahaha

Yeah i know another good example is Myrrine when she's on your ship you cannot talk to her anymore either and she's your mother for crying out loud. And the same goes for your other shipmates of course if you let them live.

I've bin to Greece a couple of times ( beautiful country though ) and i know a few Greek words ( let's say that i can handle myself in Greek ) but unfortunately not enough to understand what they are really saying.

Odyssey characters speak ancient Greek so it is not enough to understand some basic modern Greek. You have to be a native speaker to understand some or most ancient Greek.

Agree with OP, allways got a feeling of *well thats it* after finishing the story.. all this trouble and now it's over but i can't talk to anyone, or vist the house in Sparta where everyone suppose to be.

    Awkward and lonely feeling..

But .. i really hope UBISOFT goes all out especially on the settlement and surprise us (did you you you can do this ?? OMG thats insane ).. a 100 hours on that alone would be just awesome.

Here just take my money yeah, i will just eat grass for a week .

Help hunting, fishing, building, engage alot in DIPLOMACY, talk to people and luitenants and basicaly manage the settlement on many things.

They do speak ancient greek pronounced the modern way, am I right, Olympus?

    On topic
Ok talking with important NPC is a nice thing, but as we're talking about an organic/animated world, for immersiveness consider that:
    Just imagine

    * Protecting a child from wolves in the forest: +xp
    * Escorting a monk to his monastery: +xp
    * Preventing bandits from killing civilians: +xp
    * Healing a wounded viking/saxon on the road (as healing is a confirmed feature): +xp

all that, randomly, like in Origins (crocodile attacks, convoys, bandit attacks ...)

But please, not a the sterile DEAD world of Odyssey. Hopefully we'll have something like that.
It is one of the features which would make the difference between a game you can continue to play for months when the main arc will be over, and a game you will uninstall before Xmas...
