Will we have a more organic world in Valhalla?

One of my biggest criticisms of AC: Odyssey is that the interaction system with some characters seems to be stuck after the main missions are finished. This includes, for example, dialog options or even random missions to obtain XP. When we finished the Kass family quests in AC: Odyssey, depending on which ending we got, we have a brief dialogue with Myrrine, Nikolaos and Deimos inside Adrasteia but nothing more after that. It is as if those characters that are there, no longer matter at the end of the missions, for an RPG this sounds a little inorganic.
The only two characters that feature unlimited missions and varied dialog options that I observed in the game are the Athenian general and the Spartan general who ask you to collect stamps from other dead commanders.
At the time I thought that they would correct this by adding dialog and interaction options to Myrrine or Nikolaos ... Will we have this situation again in Valhalla?
Another interesting thing, regardless of which path we trace in the main story, it hardly affects what we do in the two story DLCs (legacy of the first blade and fates of atlantis). For example, if Nikolaos (good ending family storyline) discovered that Kassandra and Natakas were in danger, he would certainly help Darius to face the Persian soldiers, even if it resulted in his death.
I hope that Ubisoft changes that a lot.

"The only two characters that feature unlimited missions and varied dialog options that I observed in the game are the Athenian general and the Spartan general who ask you to collect stamps from other dead commanders." - Thoose missions are not unlimited actually. After 5-4 aprox. of each of them will apper the final mission "Nemessis" and that ends.

Worse still, is it just me who feel the world of Odyssey dead after the main / side missions are completed? I still think there should be a way to use some characters as companions (Myrrine, Nikolaos, Deimos, Brásidas while alive) just like in The Elder Scrolls (Since Assassins Creed became an RPG) and not just as ship lieutenants,. Having more relationship options with the inhabitants of the cities in the game would also be interesting, because most are just generic NPCs, which is what the main characters become after the story ends. Romance, quests, marriage options should always be available for some NPCs. It's a good thing that keeps the game alive over the years, something like Skyrim that even with the old gameplay is still not dead. What do you think ? Is it possible to see this kind of change at Valhalla? Story creator mode is an interesting option, but as missions created by people are not dubbed, it takes away part of the immersion of the mode

That is my main negative with the game that it is written inconsistently/not to the end. Exactly the scenario with Elpidios in the DLC. Not even helping out when attacked by the order but nobody can tell me that myrrine doesn´t want to see her grandson. Out of personal experience i know that mothers become different personas once they become grandparents (dads as well, but moms are on another level), Not having that interaction is really a bummer.

But i guess it has to be made since there are multiple endings and not everybody will experience the same interactions based on who survived in the playthrough. Implementing it as well and for all kinds of scenarios would probably been too much to do for ubisoft (call them lazy, unexperienced with rpgs or whatever) and they decided to just let them becoma avatars on the adrestia.

The same would go for the npcs in the game, although i would assume that might be a trade off between having a world of that scale or having more fleshed out npcs. that decision in favor of the size of the world is fine by me though.

I see where you're coming from, and I think I agree.

While there were some really great character moments in Odyssey, the script just kind of ends at some point and characters that were once vital to the Eagle Bearer's life basically become silent NPCs if they even stick around at all.

Obviously things can't go on forever, but it would be neat if post launch support for Valhalla also includes new interactions with characters that we've met (outside of new quests with them, which would also be great).

Exactly, I see things that way too.
When the main missions of other games like Skyrim ended, I remember that I not only stayed playing but I continue to this day. Precisely because of this feeling that the protagonist's story did not end there, because the interactions with the main characters did not end, they are still there. And what you did drastically influences the way they see you. I am not comparing Odyssey with a game from another world, I am comparing it with a game made 9 years ago. I agree that having a big world is good, but I think that working a little on the main characters (Myrrine, Nikolaos, Deimos, Stentor, Barnabas, Anais which although secondary has a direct connection with the eagle bearer) would bring many interesting elements, which would dramatically increase the replay factor or the post story factor.
And NPCs mechanics like marriage, side missions, companions, simply wouldn’t really affect the story of Kassandra / Alexios if they were unlocked at the end of the Game, simply because after Natakas, she had 2400 years left to live, get married, enjoy life as a person would normally do

Yes, creating a living breathing world is a hard task. The only real way to extend it indefinitely would be to have MP aspects, be it coop or competitive. The trouble with procedural content is just that humans are very good at spotting patterns and no matter what you do eventually it becomes obvious that you’re repeating the same things again and again. Other humans meanwhile introduce that chaotic element that keeps things fresh for longer.

This happened In my first playthrough when i saw Phoibe she was still in Kephallonia standing somewhere in that village and when i approached her she was like "who are you" "i don't know you" and she was backing away like those other npc's do when you get to close. That was a really weird moment ...because i just wanted to talk to her but obviously i couldn't.

But yeah when you are done with the quests missions you cannot talk to them anymore and that's to bad.

When I played this DLC I really found it very strange that Myrrine or Nikolaos had not appeared at least once, considering that they are alive in the canonical ending (In which only Deimos / Alexios dies). Especially because Myrrine's saga during Odyssey revolves around her family.
I hope that the next DLCs that are likely to leave for Valhalla will bring greater coherence between the characters.
