Last time they made some "community effort" of any significance, was that Delta Company rubbish, which only was made to communicate with the fanboys, the ones that can't see Ubi doing anything wrong at all.
He means the community as a collective. The surveys were a good start but there was a ton of really good feedback that went largely ignored in their own forums before and after Wildlands release.
It's funny because they questions they were asking after the failure of Breakpoint were already answered long before its release.
Communication is what is lacking and engagement with their community as a whole. They need community reps that can interact more freely with their fans, share more information, updates, answer more questions about the product, have Q&As, etc. They also need more frequent releases of fixes. Check out how responsive folks like IW are with CoD:MW. Those guys are on it within hours of a problem and patches are typically within hours or just days, not months.
Not going to get into the Delta thing but I agree with Mega that Ubi needs to step up their game in regard to how they engage with the community (e.g. comms, updates, feedback, etc.). .....as a whole.
