Now I can see better where you're coming from, so thank you.Originally Posted by Licher.Rus Go to original post
But I still have to disagree – because "cheesing" for me is always connected to doing something that you should not be able to do. For example finding a cover through which you can shoot the enemies but they can't shoot you. Also this shield-glitch-thing you were talking about earlier is at least "cheesing" (although this actually is already worse, as this can also be considered glitch abusing or exploiting – which both are related to plain and simple cheating).
Just wanted to add my $.02 - You can only solo Legendary when the Hunter AI "breaks" which is does maybe 10-20% of the time. If the AI is working properly and they are aggressive it's just not possible. There is not a single video on YouTube that shows hunters skill spamming and disrupting while charging into the small room where the solo player prevails, it just cannot be done.
I agree with desrocchi – that's not true. It is possible and I'd also prefer staying inside the smaller room and having each one come in individually. There are a lot of viable builds that can help you a lot with the Hunters, but everyone has to keep in mind that a) the Hunters are a special thread on nearly every difficulty and that b) legendary difficulty is still not meant to be tackled easily (although a lot of players using skill builds with drones and turrets tend to feel to safe thanks to their builds).Originally Posted by imWeltall Go to original post
Having said that, here are two (out of a looooot) videos that show to different approaches:
This one is a rather new video and it is using the decoy (which I also recommend against the Hunters), a shield and the Scorpio and the Memento. Especially these two exotic items make this encounter a good part easier.
And this video is a bit older and is using a rather "traditional" way with stopping the Hunters with status effects by foaming and shocking them with skills (while using a DPS-build).
