That's one gun that could do with a bit of the old pre-patch ever-mud.

It is just more of the same. Why the surprise?

Either that or their creative artist likes to get creative using creative / magic mushrooms.
Don't you dare blame that on the mushrooms. This is pure sh1tshow.

What's the problem with it? You don't have to equip it.
You know the point you don't have to be a... male appendage about it.

What is the problem, well the GR realistic tactical shooter forums and Reddit’s and bang full of people asking for realistic tactical gear. No one is asking for this.

So do you not see it as a slap in the face for them to say,

‘Sorry we cocked up again on the technical stuff, here is a gun we know the community will hate’

I mean you if you don’t see that you are deaf to the thousands of posts starting in WL and carrying on here and on reddit.
Your assumptions are bizarre. What arrogance to assume that someone that disagrees with you is a Ubi employee or dev. No I'm neither of those.

This game - Breakpoint - with it's fantasy drone setting, is hardly a realistic tactical shooter. You might have preferred that type of game, but that's not the game it actually is.

I agree the weapon is pretty gaudy, but as realistic tactical shooter fans don't like this game, perhaps appealing to those who do like the game is the way to go?

I don't like dressing up in shrubbery, but I know many do, so I'm not going to get upset that items exist that others like but I don't.

Thank you for the courtesy of your reply.

I think I understand the point you are making. At this stage of development, almost any ancillary items will be received poorly whilst 'critical fixes' remain outstanding. I suspect the dilemma is that the judgement of what constitutes a 'critical fix' clearly differs between different players and the Ubisoft devs.

If I'm raising an eyebrow in gentle mockery, it's because complaining that a game addition isn't a different game addition is a much weaker argument than simply complaining about the critical issues. I guess you might retort that the critical issues have been complained about already to no effect.

I notice you often ignore key facts.

Firstly the way the game marketed itself, I mean read the marketing. Don’t just comment on them using celebs, actually look at the stuff they produced.

Secondly it’s not just me, this forum and reddit are full of people wanting more tactical gear and maiming about the rubbish they keep adding. So it’s not just me at all.

And finally, yes i made the joke about you working for Ubisoft because you are tone deaf to people on here and on Reddit. Just like Ubisoft are tone deaf.

    I find this really disappointing.

It’s starting to show that they either don’t care or they are out of touch with the community.

Why pin our community charter on the wall and then deliver the community this? To me this communicates a message that the devs are like “fk u community”.

I made this post in jest ( https://www.reddit.com/r/GhostRecon/...tm_name=iossmf ) But now I’m actually more concerned with how they are ignoring this feedback.

If fixing what majority of the players are asking for isn't more critical than adding silly things.
Then I don't know what it is.

It's a brightly coloured version of a weapon that was recently criticised here, by general consent, for being in the game at all, Crock. It's no better or worse than El Polito's AK47 or any of the other bizarre looking speciality guns from Wildlands or other weapons of this ilk in Breakpoint. If I do want to equip a Desert Eagle in standard colours I can.

Do I think it should be in the game? No. Would I have preferred a different weapon more fitting a tactical shooter? Yes. Does it particularly disturb me that it is in the game? Not really no, quite a lot of players like this sort of stuff and I don't have to equip it. Is its presence conclusive evidence that the Dev team are shape-shifting lizard people with an agenda to alienate and belittle the community? Talk about that one among yourselves.

What the Forget_Undo_Checkmate_Kaput are you expecting from us Ubisoft ?

    seriously !

There is so many problems whit you guys at ubisoft. Its from the top of ubisoft and down to the buttom. And the game big time.

Just to mention a couple of problems whit this game:

    1. If i buy a gun from the shop. I buy it for its specs. Not the fracking custom color. You dont send in a Ninja in black behind enemy lines whit pink guns and shoes. (You get the point)

    2. Gunsmith is in a poor condition. You should be able put a sniper scope on any gun you see fit.

    3. Every time you come up whit a new dlc you create new bugs. Or old bugs reapear.

    4. Remeber the problem whit the engineer class and echelon class ? Now it is the same about the AUG SCOUT. What the F... Ubisoft.

I gave this game a chance. I wanted to see the game evolve. And at some point you were getting there. But here we are again. Giving us an ugly costum desert eagle. For what purpose i may ask.
No AUG SCOUT until next TU. But i will not be around to see that.

I am going to unsubribe to uplay+. For good. Because you have shown me that nogting is going to change at ubisoft regarding how you see your paying subscribers.

I am done whit you guys.

You're right. I see no difference:

Maybe "His AK" was a bad choice for you to reference. I agree that there are some weapons in Wildlands that are nearly equally as bad as this.

But none of those weapons were "gifted" to a community that spent the last year specifically decrying these types of "goofy" additions into the franchise.
And none of those weapons were "gifted" to the community at all because they didn't manage to break their ******g game every. single. update.
