Sorry, it is boring AF. Went back after the AI update, but the world and missions made me sleepy in short order. GRW was just so much better alone or coop; with a vibrant world. Breakpoint has no such soul. It's even more boring than the other cashgrab it's based on: The Division 2.

I'm sure most of us here have had relationships end with varying degrees of pain, I know I have. It sucks and I feel for you. But as Thomas Wayne said, "Why do we fall? So we can get back up again." So don't give up and get back up again.
    I finally found the thread.
It's all good, we already resolved this on PM

The Division 2 is bad but not as bad as Breakpoint. I do praise the world of The Division 2. The Divsion 2 has better graphics than both Wildlands and Breakpoint. Its inferior to the Division 1 mainly due to player count and PvE/PvP modes that never returned. Still the world is more clear and each installment of The Division 1 & 2 had a map expansion. Division 1 had dark zone expanded to new areas and the pve map got a pier map updates. Both making the map big. The Division 2 had New York Expansion which is the biggest map expansion I seen in a Ubisoft games.

Now compare this to Wildlands and Breakpoint. Neither had a map expansion. No Golem Island doesn't count cause it was already there. When I look at GR structure its pretty much what you see is what you get. 100% no map expansion. The Division 1 & 2 have it set where you get different enemies on different difficulty settings on the same mission. You compare to Wildlands and Breakpoint its the same enemy regardless of difficulty.

In the Division 1 Underground PvE you got hunters at random spots unexpectedly. In The Division 2 you get rogue agents unexpectedly sometimes in all missions and the open world itself. Wildlands you get the same enemies possibly Unidad or rinse and repeat with Breakpoint instead of Unidad you get Wolves if spotted or drones which is copy and paste from you current world enemies.

So will I ever say GR WL/BP was great or good games I would say no. What I just said above is a new IP Ubisoft acquired thats in TC universe does a superb job than GR. Like how. Why? If TD2 wasn't bullet sponge it probably would be Ubisoft best open world game. GR doesn't put any effort to make the world lively. Sure enemies sleeping in WL is cool but everything else is inferior on what Massive does. If you walk around TD you see pictures, get stories, and indoor buildings that's very different. GR you don't get that. Maybe a bed by the door and the next building a bed with carpet by the window. Thats it. Too much copy and paste. We paying full price for what. Hit CTRL + V every quarter mile. Noooooo.... This why I don't want a remaster Wildlands and lost confidence of improving Breakpoint. The Division is not the best open world. Plenty of open worlds I played thats much better but The Division did try. GR slapped us hard.

We need a new GR built from the ground up that copy GR elements. Not the Division, farcry, gta, tomb raider, and other games. Copy GR predecessors and refine new ideas.

Breakpoint isn't boring. It's how you play it, that, makes it boring.

It's all subjective anyway. No point in arguing because nobody here is inherently wrong, it's just a matter of different opinions.

Indeed, there's an aspect of it which is subjective, ie: you can personally enjoy a badly crafted piece of media whilst being aware of it's shortcomings.
But a product's quality can absolutely be quantified on objective grounds alone, independent of what our own opinions of said product are.

Yep, just like a movie can be really bad if you are watching it with your eyes open, right?

But seriously now, care to explain what is the right way to play Breakpoint to enjoy it? In other words, how do you play it?

Perhaps you are right and I am playing it wrong, you know, like a tactical squad based shooter instead of like an MMORPG enjoying the loot and the gear score, the drones, the glitches everywhere, the bugs, the falling off the map at every worse point, oh and the raid, I almost forgot the tactical raid where unless you git gud, you can't decipher the scripted places where to aim and kill those mythological drones . Oh and taking 2 hours to dress my character and the teammates to only playing the game for 10 minutes afterwards and call it a heavy session? Hmmm... maybe I am doing it wrong!

I like the RPG elements in the game, and the player survey showed a request to improve and make more relevant the survival aspects of the game. I think that we can say that many players like the loot and gear score. Apart from that, you can disable it now, so it is not a problem. That is the point, I think, allowing you to find the way you like to play, by making the game configurable. Ubisoft has made an effort about that.
About the bugs and the glitches, I almost don't have any in PS4 Pro. Maybe it is different in other platforms.
The raid... that was a failure, and Ubisoft decided not to release the second raid. It's a dead end by now.
