Time to utilize orders properly, and redo some of their requirements
So, there are a few orders you guys have that need to be scaled back a bit.
Namely, anything that requires more than 6 matches of any type.
-15 matches of any type... scale this back to somewhere between 6 and 10.
-12 matches as a "insert warrior type (Vanguard, Tank, Assassin, etc)" This should be 6 to maybe 8 tops. I do not really play vanguards or tanks... and having to spam duels or brawls to just get this over with, FIFTEEN times is absurd. And my team mates often complain of this issue as well.
-Scale "Complete 7 Duels" back to 6 duels.
-Missions that ask a player to get 24 kills with a certain type of her should realistically be 15 kills.
-Capturing 20 zones is a bit much. Scale it back to 14. As each match I play against bots to try and get this one over with I get about 7 zones per match. that forces players to really only have to waste time on 2 matches.
Now speaking to the use of orders in a more effective way...
Often, I play PVP. but its pretty much only Brawl or Dominion... so your orders need to reflect an effort for players to do what they need to do against bots and then get back to the game the way they want to play it.
If you, as developers, want to use these orders for their intended purposes, then you need to create orders for Arcade as well, and more importantly, create worthwhile incentives for completing orders in PVP instead of PVE. So that if you are grouped against players you gain something significant.
An idea of the top of my head would be this:
Maybe, if you complete orders playing the specific mode the order is designed for, or if you complete an order type for a specific warrior archetype, then you get a bonus 500 percent xp for that matches completion...
SOMETHING, should be done.
Not just for the purposes of streamlining the orders better, but also to incentivize your player base to play other modes.
As an example, I think skirmish and Elimination are possibly, in all honesty, your best modes in the game. But they are DEAD. Using orders, you devs can revitalize areas of your game.
