And i have recording o me dumping an entire heroic session loot into a vendor and most not being rainbow and actually being forced same loot, yet i bet it's magically going to be disconsidered as hard evidence, man i swear you people only focus on rainbow items.Originally Posted by RoniN018 Go to original post
Here's an idea, play an entire mission on heroic with a random 4 man group, pick everything up as trash and don't look at it, go the vendor and press the sell junk button, then make sure to check every item and post them all, i would love to see this crazy luck
EDIT: btw there are no images anywhere in this thread so i have no clue what items you are talking about

From open world boxes? Those don't scale with difficulty.Originally Posted by Aced_100 Go to original post
That's how it is supposed to be. You are NOT supposed to be getting epic loot from opening a box in an alley 4 feet from a safehouse. If they did this folks would just be running up and down the street opening the bosses and not having to actually do anything at all in this game for loot.Originally Posted by Aced_100 Go to original post
Did you honestly expect them to fix it, if you did you are kidding yourself. The whole idea of Rainbow loot was to slow down player power creep and extend the lifecycle of their content by forcing you to grind more for gear that is usable. We know UBI$OFT is forcing studios to extend content well past its normal life cycles and with the SOTG in general this has been occurring well before 8.5, when this became more obvious.
Why do you think they announced on SOTG that the fix would by making the 1st attribute a 100% chance to drop with the same colour as the core, then a matter of days latter released a tweet to say ‘ we thought about it and we aren’t making it 100%, were not going to tell you what we’ll make it but we’ll test it on PTS”
Guess what they didn’t ******g well change anything and if they did it was such a small % increase it would be barely noticeable.
If they wanted to fix it they could, if they wanted to make it fair to everyone so those that want hybrid builds they wouldn’t need to change loot all they would need to do was bring back the old recal station from D1. Massive are afraid to put the power back in the hands of players, to make the game enjoyable..... instead their always scrambling for ways to claw back player power or anything that makes players seem powerful.
Mark my words 11.1 update will see Balance changes and guess what Hunters Faith, will be nerfed, along with the other new exotics and BS pieces, this is their normal process, bring in new gear make it OP then once its in circulation for a few weeks/ months nerf it back to useless.
I honestly dont understand why they bring in new exotics and GS when generic BS gear is far better, the stripping of attributes on GS pieces and the drawbacks from using them do little to encourage their use, their a gimmick, a novelty for little while and then they go back in the stash or hang on the wall as a trophy never to see the light of day again as we pull our all red build back on and go farm for more craptastical rainbow loot.
Not expecting "epic loot" but they certainly go to the other extreme, what purpose is there having a room where you have to work out a puzzle to get in, or work out that you have to climb a separate tower ten metres away and shoot a lock on the inside from a distance just to get rewarded with the lowest gear score piece of purple gear, like you said I can open a box 4 feet from a safe house to get that?Originally Posted by Fazemlidaiya Go to original post
I even did all the hydden hotel ones with the check in button where you have to run all over the map, nothing but the lowest gear score purple weapons/gear, got to the last one with the secret room and got nothing, it only has one of those carry bags now not even a weapon/gear case. Supply drops also, you kill bunch after bunch of hostiles and get things like purple seeker mine skill mods.
The only thing I get decent gear on is when I get a Field Proficiency Cache. It's all good though, as I said I just sell all the junk and it gives me credits to use the crafting table or recalibration table.
There were plenty of complaints on the subreddit, forum and directly to Nikki about the 100% eliminating certain builds.Originally Posted by SGTR0CK117 Go to original post
I already posted the results thread earlier. Based on a sample size of over 100 items, rainbows went from 25% on TU10.1 to 15% on TU11. I'll note that *nobody* complaining about rainbows in TU11 has bothered to conduct a similar count. The same thing happened during PTS.Guess what they didn’t ******g well change anything and if they did it was such a small % increase it would be barely noticeable.
