The Division 2 is a Great Value for the $$$
People have been bashing Ubi recently over the cost of continuing to provide fresh content to play. If anyone did a cost analysis of the game since day 1, it is still a better value than other games out there.
Take for instance the Madden franchise. EA releases a new game every calendar year while basically keeping the base game the same. Yet they demand $60 per year to purchase. What additional content do you get? Updated rosters? Lame! I bet if you tried to matchmake on Madden 2017 you'd be sitting there listening to crickets.
NBA2K is even worse. Not only do they charge full price every year for the game, in game purchases are the most predatory of any game out there. If you want to be competitive online, you have to purchase in game currency to buy the players you want on your roster.
I bought TD2 Ultimate for $100, then added WONY for $20 and 3 seasons of DLC for $30 total. My out of pocket for this game currently runs $150 for 3 years for a game with fresh stuff (albeit buggy) compared to paying over $180 for 3 years of Madden with no additional content and lame game modes nobody plays.
The difference being is i still play TD2 while my older versions of Madden and NBA2K collect dust,
If Division gamers were really interested or passionate about the game, they wouldn't bat an eyelash spending a little extra money on a game that continues to challenge and entertain the fan base.
So, if you're lvl 30, plunk down the cost of a Frappuccino and keep up with the community. We would love to have you.
