Yup, making no sense whatsoever....
They'd seriously need to make guns into the same stats.
Take the M4, the Kilo 141 and other 556 rifles in MW.
They have the same damage, the range is slightly different, the mobility is about the same, the accuracy will differ a little.
But feels realistic.
