I'm slowly working my way through The Lost Tales of Greece. I suppose I shouldn't have waiting to start these, and should have done them as I did the main quest, but EVERY single one seems to be a really overly-complicated wild-goose-chase fetch quest.
The one where I'm trying to decide who was the most dangerous god, Apollo or Poseiden is so far the most annoying. I have to travel really far, there are no fast-travel points near anybody, and at one point, I was required to kill somebody and was given no choice but to kill them.
Are they ALL like this?
Two of them are just mini-boss fights & nothing else. I think "The Show Must Go On" & one or two others was just infiltrating a compound & killing someone. "One Really, Really Bad Day" makes up for it by being funny. And, if you do the one on Samos Island, it's entirely self contained on just the one island, so the distances are a bit shorter.
I've almost finished lost tales of ancient greece. I have 3 more to go. "one really, really bad day" did make me laugh, but it was also frustrating in the sense that I was running back and forth all for nothing.
My opinion still stands: I HATE these tales. The last one I did and now this one have these AWFUL "escort" missions where I have to walk with someone ... and they are SO SLOW! And the small talk is just fingernails-on-blackboard BAD. Why do these people move so sssssssssllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwllllllllllllllllllllllyy yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
