I think it would be nice to have the Ezio Collection on PC not only for the improvements but because the servers for AC 2 is still working for the Ezio Collection so you can still access the dlcs and rewards.
AC2 PC's servers have now been closed preventing you from accessing those dlcs and rewards.
Because it's not worth it, for Ubisoft or us, the consumers. The PC versions of Brotherhood and Revelations are still likely superior to the remasters. AA will still be better, as will shadows, resolution, framerate, and probably textures too. The only difference I can see in ACB and ACR is that the remasters have had some minor color correction, which is something that you can do manually on PC. AC2's remaster however, should be available for PC. From the small amount we've seen, it clearly looks miles better than the original AC2, and PC players are kind of getting the short end of the stick in that we won't be able to play a better version of AC2. You never know, maybe it'll be like Rogue where it was originally a console exclusive, but they eventually gave in and ported it to PC.
