    Make Summit Modifiers OPTIONAL!

    Please remove mandatory modifiers from summit as it is just sucking the fun out of it. No one wants to keep wiping the get the least PUNISHING modifiers because its forced.

    I have to say that I agree. I am not a fan of the directives to start and definitely not a fan of being forced to play with them. Not to mention the fact that they change, and, since I never use them, I have to look at the map screen and read them off to my team so we are all on the same page.

    +1 for making directives in The Summit optional.

    There are far too many pathing issues that lead to wipes from FORCED handicaps. Modifiers should be something you can add as you feel more confident and after min/maxing gear.

    Or they could change it so we can select our own Directives/Modifiers - We have to select 3 but it will be our choise witch 3 we choose

    My vote is put three modifiers on ALL floors. Keep it consistent. They definitely make things more interesting.

    Yes but the option to choose if and what directives should be the players, not forced. There already is huge amounts of grenade spam for every room with pinpoint accuracy and rapid fire. I made it all the way to floor 100 to find the quest for the exotic chest is broken. Now I have to play through that cheese all over again to get something I should have already earned. Too much effort for little reward, no thanks.

    no, we need them, right now as it stands it might be little bit annoying at some points/to some individuals, but overall difficulty is fine and should stay that wa, only probably i'm having with summit are the spawns points, then you have to stand next to laptop thats requires hacking, and you have enemies spawnings 5 metres away from you from both, front and back, and there is nowhere to hide from them

    - for directives as optional

    Thus guaranteeing that only you and maybe a couple of others would do the summit.

    I will agree there should be a "Optional" version of it, but with reduced rewards and % drop rate no higher than the current Heroic/Legendary specific target loot on Exotics. Only reason I say this is not out of any other reason than fairness. The challenge is what makes the higher floors worth it. Tho that is personal view, and I love the challenge that 61 - 100 brought progressively. So if they could make a happy median of lowering loot drops and exotic %s sure. Otherwise, a lot will go in get everything with no directives, or easy directives then cry how there is nothing to do for weeks or months.

    Like with each X modifier removed take X% of chance of X Loot.

    Trying not to sound like an Elitest here by far, so please don't take it as that, I'm just trying to make suggestions on how to make it fair all around for everyone. ^.^; I'm sure other's may can think of ideas to add onto it to help out, other than just removing everything and making it easymode for everyone.

    1. Make directives optional
    2. Allow folks to equip all directives if they wish so
    3. Give directives a bonus alongside a handicap, so players have an incentive to equip them, this can be XP, targeted loot, stat bonuses, etc.
    4. Allow folks to set a minimum difficulty so they can play the whole Summit at the minimum level they want

    Oh, and folks who want to force everyone to play with directives everywhere when almost nobody wants this: you're not cool, or hardcore, you're an *******.

    I proposed the other way around (but boils down to the same thing): adding a modifier gives you some extra benefit in the form of loot/stats/whatever. Each directive a different benefit, so people will want to equip them.
