Not sure why, but people here speak as if gear is needed any more for Heroic. Legendary, sure, but Heroic has been nerfed down so much that an average joe with all purple gear could just melt the entire mission to shreds without even thinking. If you die in anything below Legendary, you are probably trying to kill yourself on purpose to reset something.

If you are running a CC build that stun locks enemies and complain its too easy you are only causing your own issue.

Your average Joe with no optimized builds shouldn't be playing Heroic. Period. There is plenty of difficulties below that for your average Joe.

Cool elitism. No one needs it though. You aren't special for thinking somehow heroic which is essentially tier 5 for level 30 is exclusive to the best players. It is just endgame stuff. Nothing special about it. If you want to do "special" things, that is what raids and legendary missions are for.

Let's look at things a bit.One needs good gear to play Heroic, but the drops are complete garbage 99.99% of the time. After hours of grinding, it is nearly impossible to have a good enough build to perceive heroic as easy. By this point, 99% of the playerbase gives up and the game is dead.

On top of this, most gear brands and most talents are very weak compared to the very few which are super strong. The balance is all over the place. And heroic is easy only if you know what weapons or skills, and what set/talent/gearset is overpowered ingame.

The majority of gear sets and skills are complete garbage for heroic. The problem is further compounded by the all or nothing approach to difficulty levels. Essentially, agents are glass canons. They cannot take a hit. Ever. Tanking or CCing solo on heroic is a complete waste of time. Going hybrid is also a complete waste of time. And that is not immediately obvious since every single game out there isn't like this. In every other game, playing any "class" well is still competitive.

Ultimately, it is not up to you to decide who plays what as long as it is in there, meant for everyone to play solo. Calm down.

The game is already in serious trouble for bad design choices. The last thing some middle of the road players need to see to just give up on this game is some fanboi with an obnoxious attitude who tells them they cannot play this content because it is supposed to cater to you and the other ten people who still playing this game.

Then again, don't let me stop you from being obnoxious and irrational.

Fell free to post a video of yourself taking control points with all purple gear and completing missions in under 20 minutes. No M1A Classic allowed either. The moment you decided to open your comment with the usual elitism catch phrase BS I stopped caring about your opinion entirely. Heroic is the top-tier difficulty for the most of the content in-game and saying average players with average builds have no place in it is no elitism by any stretch of the imagination. It's purely a common sense.

Recently I played Heroic there was a full red DPS guy that had 17% accuracy and did around 80m damage for the whole of The Tombs mission, whilst everyone else topped over 800m and even 1 billion damage. That kind of logic is precisely why Heroic and Legendary is full of dead weight that are constantly getting carried. Sure, you are free to play any difficulty and content, as long as you have the proper skill/knowledge/build for it. I haven't started directly on Heroic with crap build getting carried and neither should others.

First and foremost what you do on pc vs console is night and day
Console is and always has been more difficult period

In order to get better gear you must play on higher difficulty

I play on console, on heroic I can be flank on ammo before reaching an objective due to roaming patrols which rarely drop any gear..

OP builds require little or no skill, anyone can run a face tank.

I played legendaries with random and have done almost all missions solo in heroic on CONSOLE PS4. Now, been 15h on pc... and i solo heroic already.
