    [Suggestion] Next level CQC&Skill

    I love Breakpoint, it is an amazing game. However, I believe there are some refinements to add to the game.

    CQC

    -The motion
    The motion of the CQCs is amazingly done, it is so BADASS. I am aware there are some variations to the motions depending on the circumstances the CQC is executed, and also the fact that the main weapons of this game are firearms, but generally, if we sneak up on an enemy and execute the CQC we will get the same CQC motion all the time, if not almost. Although it is amazing, it's repetitive. Also, the CQC can take too long to finish. this contributes to the lack of realism in the experience of the game.
    It would be great if the game could have more variations and choices for the CQC.

    For example, a quick direct slash to the throat would be very cool, a stab from the back, a knife combat motion where the enemy also brings out his knife to engage in quick, short, and cool knife combat with Nomad, etc.

    Also, if there are some more choices to the melee weapons, it would also brighten the experience. Now there are only two types of melee weapons that will determine how the CQC motion will play out which are combat knives and the karambits. More weapon choices, for example, small axes, batons, machetes, or even bare hands(i would love to have the bare handed takedowns with various motions including some fast-paced hand-to-hand combat motion) that will give new experience of CQC would be amazing.

    The Skills

    I am sure at some point in the game, the experience of leveling up the skill will be a lost aspect because all the skills are maxed out, when there is still a long way to go in the game with the extra 10+ skill points hanging on the skill tab, and not to mention the upcoming episodes in the future. This doesn't completely destroy the experience of the game but, for sure it gives less point and purpose to play.

    There should be some types of new skills to upgrade or new system that we can pour these leftover skill points into.
    For example: there can be new CQC skills, like double takedown, knife throwing skill, knife throwing takedowns, chain takedowns.
    The new skills don't have to be CQC skills those are just some examples.

    Some system that can be integrated to the game for the players to spend their extra skill points can also be some upgrades on the player's favorite weapons like the tier one system in Wildlands, or some passive stats like movement speed, ADS, Stealth Detection, attack to drones, drone detection, stamina,, teammate upgrades, etcs.

    These are just my ideas from my limited perspective.

    Good posts which I can only agree to. Axes for take downs would be so cool as well would be throwing knives.

    Related to CQC: I think it’d be very useful to drag bodies, to get them out of view quicker. Or to be able to push them, off ledges or into the water for instance, maybe combined with takedowns.

    Make CQC from behind almost instantaneous (the fastest animations), allowing you to chain into at least 2. One from behind, one as they turn.. And the struggle animation only for yellow or red alerted enemies. No need for Far Cry chaining.. But "Grab" human shield, immediate - allowing you to pop headshots into rest of the patrol... could be more fluid and immersive even..

    Great thread.
    I would like to see this in game.
    But I can’t remember if Ubi have ever add new skills, on any of there game, on there skill tree.
