Oh, maybe it's just me or RNG, but do floors get nicer and more diverse as you go up?
I would say there are like 5 to 10 different types of floors, and they all just change randomly on each floor, the only real different floor is 100th, other then that, they all the same, you just sometimes spawn/start at the different ends of the same floor to make it look more ''different''

The Summit is to create a highly replayable mode that offers an experience for all The Division 2 players, regardless of their preferred difficulty.
    Is it replayable? YES

But that shouldn't mean that they should create a dull, repetitive game mode. It isn't the NEW experience I expected but just a copy and paste of objectives from existing missions into a bad mish mash of a vertical Underground. Slightly fun but replayability should include making it an enjoyable lasting experience.

I was hoping it would be like the battle ship in division 1 - we need something like that where you take on wave after wave of enemies each wave getting harder with more enemies with a tiny break between waves for ammo and picking up armor kits they could even have different factions attacking to make it better on the waves . Who ever could go the longest would be the true champion That would be a real challenge.
How about different factions that fight each other, and how about a huge area where you can sneak around and flank the enemies, and they don't have the ability to shoot you half a mile away while walking sideways.

i like it, it's fun for sure but it needs more improvements, and still lots of bugs plage the experience a bit but not too much.
tho forced directives need to go .. like just go away please.
-picking difficulty for entire building with varying target loot OR no target loot and just get random stuff like in div1.
-more room layouts and objectives would go a long way, maybe some special RAVE disco rooms like the underground had would be fun.
and the suggestion of turning this into a survival esque theme with starting with no gear at level 1 normal and crafting using what you get as you go up would be really fun THO this should be seperate from the normal summit in case people don't want this survival version

Then it was probably just the RNG. For me the lower floors are mostly empty/industrial space, while the higher floors had more open/office/workspace stuff. Never saw the Donut Shop themed floors at lower levels for instance. But probably just RNG then.

On rare occasions, faction already fight each other.

And there is at least one well-designed space, it's a type of corridor with the possiblity to flank, if you get a 'survive the ambush' type of goal there it leads to some epic gunfights. Lots of cover too.

Personally, I'd wish for a bit more verticality. Some sections already have two floors, these could be made a lot more interesting IMO.

    So far really disappointing.
There are several clipping errors, texture errors and such that take away the experience.
It's also a very dark environment for a glass skyscraper

Guess the devs forgot to copy the glass texture for this new game mode.

The checkpoint system is very flawed. You need to complete all 10 levels to reach another fast travel point.
Started playing floor 50. Went to floor 56.Then decide to do some manhunting as i got bored of the same floorplan.
Went back to get the boss part for the manhunt quest. Surprise, surprise, had to start at floor 50 again. Should have expected that tbh.
Dropped down to floors 1-10 to get it done.

Went back to floor 50 again but gave up at level 51.
Oh and so far for randomness, every time i went back to floor 50 i had rogue encounters on that same floor; with the exact same floorplan.

I actually enjoy the game mode once you get to Legendary. If we could do all 100 floors are Legendary, then that would be better for sure. The loot still sucks for the most part, and the end rewards are absolute garbage, but the mode has potential. I'd really like to see the end Hunters reward new unique Hunter masks.

I am a little confused about the first complaint, about not being able to change difficulty. I played the PTS and yes I found the first 50 floors to be tedious and pointless. BUt when it went live, last night I went to teh summit and noticed it said "personal best" was floor 51. And sure as snot, when I went to the elevator I was able to blow past the first 50 floors and go to 51.

At first, I thought it was a bug, and that something I did in PTS persisted. But I don't think it is. I think it let me go direct to to 51 because my world was on "heroic" difficulty and floor 5 is where the "Heroic" difficulty begins.

So in short, set your world difficulty before going to The Summit.

And please, if you do this and it doesn't work, please don't come back and call me a liar etc. It really did work that way for us.

    That's not how it works.

The devs just caved to complaints and let everyone start at 51. It has nothing to do with your world setting.

    I don't understand this argument....
It doesn't matter how many rooms, everything that's in unground is in the Summit just layed out different, the Summit almost every floor looks the same of 100 floors, underground looks the same everytime u run it, they both have random objectives, random enemies, and random doors to come out, and for difficulty some people rnt as good as others and thats most every game lets each individual choose how difficult they want it,a game is supposed to be entertainment for all players not just some, and companies that have dedicate themselves to entertainment should understand that and care about about keeping all the players that buy their games satisfied and entertained not just some
