More melodrama. Why do you think someone needs to spend half their life to play this game to get the rewards? Our group did 90 floors today, with breaks every 20 floors and a long break at floor 61. That's a few to a handful of hours. Dont have that kind of time? Then go 10 floors in a session and make progress.

But if the loot isn't handed to you just for logging in, its punishing you and requires half your life to play?

Right? I love how people use the casual player card, whenever they can't be bothered with doing the requirements for getting the item they want. They wouldn't have issues grinding the same Bounty 500+ times if they made it drop from any of those with 0,1% chance, but god forbid they have to play and complete the Summit. The horror....

As a casual player I will not be attempting this and because I am unable to spend half of my life on a game It's right to punish me? Now I am just not interested in playing at all.

I don't play nearly enough lately and really don't feel like grinding out this chest piece. But it's fine really. So I don't get the chest piece (or it's going to take ages), so what? I don't have a lot of the raid stuff either. Doesn't matter, unless you can't handle FOMO.

Won't bother to get it. If it's any good then it will get nerfed ASAP. If it's just another wall item like 75% of the current exotics then it's not worth the effort. If it's decent then my build can survive without it.

Fix my RNG and I might think about playing it. I don't have a build strong enough to complete challenging without a striker drone and assault turret. I didn't say I wanted loot handed to me for logging in. I just want a fair game that isn't influenced by youtubers and people who have a "higher" standing in the community.

A game shouldn't be suited to a lifestyle. A game {for me} is a past time not a life time goal. This is how gaming used to be and how it should be. Priorities.

I am just bored of stuff being locked behind certain skill levels more suited to those who have hundreds of hours a month to play this game.

Is there an alert telling you of the component at the start of a level? I had an orange line (same color as an exotic drop) and that really small font that this game loves to use, was written over it. My phone rang at the same time so I didn’t get to read it. I thought it said something about an alert fo an exotic. Was around level 9 or 10 I think.

I got all 5 pieces on my first run of Summit, 1 guy in group missed the first piece so he has to do floors 1-10 again...not a big deal.

This is not a grind fest at all for the parts. It's not time gated like Nemesis, doesnt require a collection of keys and then opening the faction boxes in certain zones like Chatterbox and doesnt require a pre-determined mission completion order like Liberty.

In short, it's fine and you are very melodramatic.

must be nice with rngesus on your side... havent seen a single one of em drop yet after doing half the summit so far.

How can you find out if you received one of these pieces? Is it in your inventory somewhere?
