    Ubisoft, where art thou?

A year has passed now since the release of this game. Its well overdue right about now to get some information of your plans for Breakpoint's future.
What can we expect? What are you thinking? Where is this going to lead in the end?

Your communication skills are worse than I could ever imagine. Holding on to the dev's thoughts and keeping silent on this is not a wise move if you want people to stick around for the next step.

Well, you "delivered" on your promise for those who purchased the Year 1 Pass. Now you perhaps don't feel obligated to feed the playerbase of this game anymore, as you have no more promises locked to any pre - orders of any sort. I hope the failed marketing of this game gave you a wake up call, I hope it left damage to your economy to an extend where you quit the 90% focus on moneymaking out of every game you release from this point on. That an end comes to rushed development, lies and lazy work.

You are ought to begin talking to this community if you wish to redeem yourself, also to make an effort into treating your consumers fair.

The higher ups made their decision. The game flipped they don't believe its going to recover, they are only allowed to put a minimum amount of work involved as experiments to see how the community handles different pieces in terms of positive or negative responses and then move on. That's my theory anyway. There won't be a year 2 pass. They didn't make enough money on the game and with all the flops because they weren't allowed to work full 40hrs a week on it vs being told to work on other projects instead just proves that even more. While the last round of content was a decent leap forward its still an amateur or indy developments level of effort vs what is usually done by a triple a studio. Which isn't the devs fault but more likely the producers cutting support and hours because of the flop.

We may want the game redeemed, they don't. They've completed their obligation they probably won't do much more. Even if they do im skeptical because effort is still at an all time low.

Well they said on Reddit that they will be talking about their next update in the "coming weeks", and not months. Ubi-Have even mentioned some of what might be included in the update. They don't normally do that, unless the update is almost complete. So I would be surprised if we don't at least get an announcement in October, even if the content doesn't release until November. Whether or not they talk about a year 2 then, is anyone's guess.

    True, very true.
Always had that impression, this game will be cut loose very soon.
Ubisoft will however in regards to that, only prove how much of a bad company they are, how their guidelines are align with EA to generally ditch the playerbase and grab the money.

I have no quarrel with the devs of this game, there is a very clear sign the reason why this game has gone from bad to worse is due to a CEOs handtouch and command. The developers are given very limited resources, reduced hands working on the game alongside a very, very limited budget I'd imagine.
See Red Patriot DLC for instance; cutscenes excluded / dropped, extremely repetitive content in missions and borderline customization options to new cosmetics. There has been a severe decline in quality from a standard this game originated with, that was bad enough to begin with.
There are no eyes or ears from Ubisoft that is taking feedback serious.

Our latest patch for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint, Title Update ¼.0.0 will be delayed Soon™ across all platforms.

In addition to highlights and information listed below, please note that our Known Issues List has been a complete joke since the first OTT. Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions with us as we continue to ignore them.

    DOWNLOAD TIME AND SIZE

Please note: Whether you were suckered into purchasing a digital or a physical edition of the game, you will need to download the patch before playing. The size of the patch depends on your platform, region, and preferred language.

PC: 105 Mb (Please note that you will be required to download this update everytime you launch the game going forward.)
    Xbox One: ~ 9.09 Gb
    PlayStation®4 system: ~ 17.7 kb

    NEW FEATURES

    Gunsmith & Weapon Update

To improve the customization in the Gunsmith, we have (maybe) added 1 new optic. For game balancing reasons, we've elected to keep this optic on par with several other recently added items and ensured that it is not properly aligned and covers 70% of the screen with a lazy flat black.

We've also added several more under barrel attachments to Sentinel weapons.(Not available to players)

    Character and Customization

New Items in Maria’s Shop (Skell Credits)

The same ducking truck again, only this time with an option for a 16th "unique" paint job(That is the same paint job as all other paint jobs, just different vibrant colors.) - 40k Skell Credits
The "armored plate carrier chest rig"(Has no armor, no plates, and isn't actually worn anywhere near your chest.) - 15k Skell Credits
A literal clown outfit - Free!

New Items in the Ghost Coin Shop

Literally everything* that was included in the base version of Wildlands... At 780 GC each.
(*Except the Crye with rolled sleeves)

    Live Event 3: The Cop-out

This will bring a total of 30 new missions!

    Destroy the Car x15
    Steal the Car x15
(They're new missions, really. See, it says "car" instead of "truck")

    PVP
Increased revive time by .02 seconds.

    Bug fixes

Some bug no one has ever experienced or reported.
Some other issue that can't possibly be real.
Slightly changed the color tone of one icon used in a tooltip in the language settings menu.

Oh also, we've reintroduced the Silent Mountain crash, random character deletions, the bloody **** stain now applies to every pair of pants. But don't worry about those, because the game won't run long enough for you to experience them.

We are definitely going to continue to add more trash to the ghost coin shop for the next year. #YEARTWOCONFIRMED

I'd be very surprised if they announced a Year 2 for this game.
