that summit has mandatory directives is making me think about quitting.

that summit has mandatory directives is making me think about quitting. The Summit is literally the first, and possibly only, new game mode for TD2 it's a very disappointing for them to make it mandatory especially with directives which so many people hate (if you like them go at hoss, you do you).Just play the floors without directives?
how? you can't skip them. doing these floors with another player who already unlocked them? so the best way to play the game in the way that is fun for me it is not to play it or let some else play it for you? Well why play it all that point?

Men have to watch their asses nowadays. Get screwed in court(especially a divorce). Get owned by a metoo accusation if you are in power.

This **** blew up in my senior year in college, and I revised my meeting protocols with women based on it. A 30% chance for a fake sexual allegation is not anything to mess around with. I started having meetings with women open door. Want to talk to me, you can do it where everyone else can hear if you make up some ********.

In the gaming industry, this is directly affecting games. Have you noticed that there are far ****tier games nowadays? Sure, better graphics and such, and there have been some really good games that came out the last few years, but since the gaming industry has been hit by the allegations and all that victim ********, games have gone down in quality by a noticeable amount. It isn't women as gamers, I did Halo Legendary with my sister after the military. No one is surprised women are playing videogames, at least not anymore. I've never heard anyone **** talk like they claim, either, other than COD, where everyone gets talked **** to and I turn off the audio.

It won't let me quote SGTRoCK117's post from above, this is a reply to that. Pretty common misconception that men have it easy nowadays, for some strange reason.

You do realise that this argument is totally irrelevant? Firstly it's a Red Herring in that it raises an issue not actually being discussed. Secondly, it's a genetic fallacy in that you are using one alleged behaviour as evidence for an unrelated behaviour.

Finally, a false equivalency equating an abusive relationship with a video game. All games dictate what you can and cannot do, it's an opportunity cost you weigh when deciding to play. If you continue to play when you know you are not enjoying yourself an entire new range of logical fallacies come into play.

As to the OP. As I mentioned, there is an opportunity cost associated with playing any game or undertaking any activity. One has to personally decide if that opportunity cost is worth paying. If developers took out or put I everything players wanted, most games would just be a complete mess. They do what they do within their budget of time, resources and money and according to a brief. It's unsatisfying for some and that s part of the opportunity cost.

You can just pretend the new game mode is like the DZ for many people, and pretend it doesn't exist. Or you can use a build with gunner spec and 15 reds, then none of the directives will really have much of an effect on you. Another option is to do like many others and head back to Division 1, since it's a better game.

I actually agree that Directives should NEVER be mandatory. They're supposed to be an optional modifier that a player can choose to add to increase the challenge.

Putting directives in as a barrier to progression is a mistake.

I was on PTS. I wrote in feedback forum after first day that mandatory Directives is a very bad idea. Many people agreed. Moderators forwarded it to developers. The reaction was the they removed one mandatory Directive on the Legendary levels. So they reduced from 4 to 3 Directives.
No other reaction from Developers. They choose to ignore the feedback totally.
I have written in my post that I will ignore Summit with mandatory Directives and that is what I do from now on. I will NOT play it. Perios!
