I really think that the intentions of the ccu are good but there are many details to be resolved, first that the spam of light is the same or worse on the console, but I can still react after practicing a little in the arena and adapt, also that although my main is the gladiator i really like to use the peacekeeper and sadly she is throwing a mess after the ccu, I can't even get executions, what is good is the ease of making zone attacks and that I am using more my heavy attacks, also I like the stamina changes, I think the way is right but you should analyze the mechanics of certain characters that after implementing the ccu are very weak.
Gladiator is not bad right now, even my 4 light combo is useful , but characters like pk or aramusha that were already mediocre now in my opinion are almost unusable, my second main pk is being punished for his bleeding out attacks, since she is not given much advantage by having to wait many seconds for the damage to act except for enhanced lights for a combo of just 2 moves, why not help the pk with 1 to 3 extra damage in bleeding attacks and increase the raw damage in her heavy dodge and normal heavies at the rate of 12 raw and 6 bleeding for dodge heavies and 16 plus 5 to normal heavies? this is not my original idea btw but I think it could help a lot.
Also I find shugoki, kensei and warmonger very difficult but IDK if this is because I´m not that good.

P.S.: I repped pk to 70. Unless you want to suffer, pick an other hero.

Generally speaking, you can bring out the best from her if you are conditioning your opponent to leave themselves open- either by making them looking for dagger cancels, or getting guardbreaks by throwing heavies. Offense is quite meh, basically apply bleed, spam lights and a heavy here and there if you think they will parry you. PK is a very simplistic hero with no extra tools/mixups.
Shugoki is very hard to deal with, his hyperarmor negates pk's offense pretty well. You either have to parry those lights, or be out of his range. A patient shugoki won't hasten their victory, they will just slowly follow you around with their guard up, but there are many unpatient ones who will try to rush you, which is a perfect opportunity to get damage in. If you can, you should also use the big hole in Shugo's offense: if you block a light/zone or being hit by them, you must start backwalking during their charged heavy session, then roll by the last frames backward, which completely nullifies that mixup- if he goes for the hug, you may even get some damage in. However, Shugoki is just a better character, you must accept that even if you give your best against a player with similar skills, it might not be enough.
Oh well, Goat already said it all, welcome to the PK masochists club, I strongly reccomend to put your playing hours on glad, better mix ups, bashes, stamina cost relation...
For a six months player you grasped the basics very well.
Basically just do what Goat said if you want to play her , if you truly want it you will ignore our warnings anyway.
Goki is difficult if your hero doesn't have a bash. Bashes invalidate Goki's entire mix ups. Warmonger can be hard to manage if you decide to only block. It's really easy to punish her for attempting to use unblockables on dodges though. Really all you need to do is try to interrupt her chain bash if it comes from an opening light and then make the read if she goes for it off of a chain light. At the very least try to learn her animations so you know when she's doing a chain heavy finisher and just parry that. This prevents her from having easy access to continued frame advantage. Keep in mind you can always back dodge and then attempt to whiff punish if they're the type of player to immediately throw a light after a chain finisher.
Kensei is a bit of a tougher nut to crack if you don't have all guard/undodgables. Most Kensei like to dodge attack on red. So learn to bait that for parrying. And try to keep your guard on the side of his zone whenever you're both neutral. It has pretty deceptive range. It's really a bad idea to try and GB them even on read as their dodge attacks have low GB vulnerability. It's also not a good idea to try and light attack the kensei after they finish with a light as they can just go straight into dodging. In that case you could GB them on read. But really don't try else where. Also be mindful about his mid chain lights and his dash forward light and his chain finisher lights. They all cause medium hitstun. So trying to dodge out for deflects or to avoid the follow up is kind of difficult.
Many thanks to both mr.Knight raime and mr. Goat of vermund for your tips. I appreciate it.
I already read a lot of your posts Mr Raime, while I like to read guides and see videos of skilled youtubers, your knowledge about the game is impressive.
About my shugoki problem with the counter GBs I think now is gone, I didn´t see the patch notes before, check him in the arena and the weird timing thing is no more.
