Rip the servers out of the game make it co-op (Matchmaking) without the mega server. Allow mod support.. And let the community help fix this game.. Being part of the PTS I seen so many amazing idea's that would revive this game in pretty much 1 big community patch..
The devs want money I get it... But at this point in time i think the only way to revive this game is to let the community show the devs how its done.. Look at how Fallout 4 and Skyrim have done over the past 9years for skyrim and 5years for fallout 4..
The community love the game, I would love to see how they make this better. (BUT this will never happen. All we get is these devs that seem to break ****, Too fix ****... I mean come on guys You are using the whole 100floor target loot fix as a MAIN point for TU11.1.. Jesus its a looter shooter? or did you forget that. The loot should be your main priority right now as its totally screwed.
Does verifying my files also solve the fact that every time I login, I'm put into a queue (same as TD1 recently). I don't think it will and it also won't solve the other issue I have. If it really was caused by corrupted files I would see this happen all the time, which isn't the case. Thanks for the advice but it won't help, the game was running perfect until a few weeks ago.Originally Posted by Deathlyhearts Go to original post
I had a similar issue with TD2 earlier this year. Verifying the game and windows installation and everything else just didn't work, I play Div2 with 3 other players on a LAN connected to the internet via router and only my PC was crashing. I was also having an issue with EAC in DX12 mode due to an unsigned driver - I learned my lesson, only use "final" AMD drivers. Anyway, I reformatted and reinstalled windows on my PC and the game has been 100% stable ever since. I still have no idea what the problem was but the reinstall fixed it. Sometimes the problem isn't in the obvious place.Originally Posted by echolecter Go to original post
Hope you manage to fix it Echolecter, I understand how frustrating it can be.
getting put in a Queue has nothing to do with you.Originally Posted by echolecter Go to original post
this is a load balancing mechanism serverside.
As honest as I can be I do want this game to succeed, Most of the blame has to go to the publishers or CEOs etc etc. I see that on the the new gen consoles the price of games has been raised to £70 and I really can't justify any base game costing £70. The problem will be that I don't think the devs of any game will see any of this extra money in their pay packets.
I think the publishers say what they want to be released and when they want it forcing a shoddy job to be done by setting impossible time lines.
We need some sort of governing body who will check these games for bugs, glitches, and anything that shouldn't be in a game on release and if they find anything the release date gets put back as a default punishment. There should also be no live service games ever. They are the bain of gaming.
Letting the community fix the game is a bad idea. Most of the community have different ideas of how they want the game to play. Someone will always be disappointed and someone else will always disagree with what someone else may want for the game. This is why 99.99999% of us are not game developers or game publishers. We are all a little biased to how we want the game to play out to suit our needs.Originally Posted by ShadowRavenXI Go to original post
