    The Calm Before the Storm

I have to he honest and say i am rooting for UBI/Massive to release TU11 without any major issues. I can't think of a better time in the life of this game for them to redeem themselves. With the history of bugs, bans, exploits, etc, i would love to see this thing be the crown jewel of TD2. Who is with me?

At the end of the day, I always want Massive to win. I think we all do, which is why I believe players become extremely upset when they make questionable decisions that didn't seem too difficult to mess up.

TU11 won't really be a redemption, though. You need something on the level of TU8-10.

Although I'm being a bit dramatic when I say this, I kind of feel as though this is a make it/break it update for D2 as a game. The success of this TU will determine how much we get post season 4.

Well good luck on that one. As far as I am concerned the game is only getting worse by the week. Just logged in, stepped out white house and the moment I was outside at clan entrance the game froze for few seconds. Alt-F4, this happens way to often lately and that didn't happen before as in never. This has been an issue since a couple of weeks now and some days it's just terrible. Honestly can't be bothered about any of the new stuff when you can't even play the game properly. Only question that remains is what kind of storm ...

Those issues can be due to some corrupted files. You can try to verify your games files through the Uplay launcher. Often fixes such an issues, by re-downloading and replacing any files that might have become corrupt. I don't have any such problems and I am also playing on PC.

I'm always optimistic, and we have seen dramatic turnarounds before. Summit/Skyscraper will be an intriguing and interesting addition.

I just hope they don't mess up this time. They have developed a worrying habit of creating something great and then messing up on some tiny detail that upsets the players due to the sheer stupidity of it. Please MSV, not this time. Do it right.

I do hope the reception is positive. So many players/people are influenced by the opinions of strangers and will not play and decide for themselves.

The game is not even close to it’s original version and seems to have lost many players in attempting to “improve” along the way.

I Still sit here on the side line, waiting for new content. but the main reason i don't like Divisionn 2 as much anymore is the fact they Tore apart the entire Gearing system i loved on D2 with Damage to Elite, Explosive talents and other talents on each piece of armor, which REALLY allowed you to make a hybrid random build, but before then you would hit like a truck, i just wished they increased difficulty with Legendary on the Old patches annd i still prefer the diversity those Talents brought, currently the gear doesn't intrest me, do love the gameplay. but gameplay can bring me only so much when gearing is boring and unintresting.
non the less i hope summit tmr will be "fixed" because in the PTS Phase one i litteraly stopped after 30 minutes after i encountered the exacly same room 4 times in the span of 10 floors, i got very disapointed specially when enemies spawned outside the arena and shot me through closed doors...
non the less, lets wait till tomorrow before we raise the Pitch forks and Torches.

    Speaking from my heart.

I love this Franchise Alpha/Beta participant in The Division (totaled over 2000 hours) on PS4 and X one X

Private and Public Beta participant in the Division 2 totaled 2000 hours) PS4

In this said forum since day one (had the UBI Shill/White knight/UBI Employee thrown at me so many times, iv'e defended this game so many times, and iv'e wanted this game to succeed on so many levels.

Infact i think they have a concept that stands out above all others in this genre But and i say But the decisions and current formula has left me bewildered and disheartened.

Is it Massive alone NO alot of blame or i should say mistaken decision making has to be directed at the Publishers Ubisoft (Yes they want to make money) but at what cost?

TU11 is a chance to make things right/great etc etc but do i think it will (honestly deep down NO) i don't think it will, i'd love it too be the big redemption though.

And it pains me to say this i get the feeling they don't care (i know thats harsh) and it's the very first time iv'e said/spoken out against the devs in the 7000+ posts in here.

Anyway i'll stop rambling on and wait till Tomorrow to see the end Product (Good or bad).

    Peace:

I’d really like to be positive about it but but you only need look at tall the monumental fuckups we have had to see this is following the same trajectory as D1 .....when do we get our D1 UPdate 1.8 for the D2 i mean they said from the word go they learnt from there mistakes in D1 .....yet here we are the game is in the worse state its been in the history of both D1 and D2 and reading the patch notch notes for TU 11 isnt instilling any confidence in me that they have truly listened

I mean feed back fro m PTS...get rid of forced directive, make the difficulty available to change from the start....what did we get forced directives and instead of 100 floors of highly replayable content we get maybe 50 at best.

The two new directives are the worst idea they have had and it tops the Healling trap fiasco for me, in a game where survivability is just in a ridiculous state you just rub salt into the would and make it even worse and in higher difficulties where SKIll builds are almost a pre requisit you go and make it so that skills are on infinite cool down so you have to pick up tokens or some crap to reduce your cool down..... tell me how you do that with a tier 6 shill build on Legendary and survive leaving cover for more than 1/8th of a sec. (I bet the same person who got the healling trap in the game came up th those two directives)

This game has been marred by a string of appalling decisions by the dev team that consistently go against what the community wants.

    Every step of the way
