The max range for Sync shot drones is 200m, The max team mate AI sync Shot is slightly longer but not by much. Also i dont have any problems with sync shot drones or even half the problems you guys seem to be having.

His suggestion to slide down hill is actually based on logic and previous bugs we had before you new players showed up. Awhile back we had a bug in the game that would sometimes prevent players from doing anything but moving. No shooting, no weapon switching, no reloading, no item use, no crouch, no prone. Nothing. Sliding down hill or jumping into water to swim breaks the character animation because its stuck and it forces your character back to normal operation. Keep in mind when this bug was going on, it was almost impossible to force your character to slide down hill, most of us had to jump off a small cliff so we could roll as we landed which would break the characters inability to do things.

The range might be true to mark the target for sync shot. But, just like in Wildlands, once they are marked, they can shoot the enemy right up to the point they de-spawn which seems to be around 600 meters. There are some great tactics I've found to use this to your advantage in both games, but especially WL.

yesterday I tried to use this hint but no effect... my ghost was still stuck and helpless. only after changing the drone to another item in equipment the bug has gone and my character returned to normal use. what`s a shame.

Ive got this same problem too, where I cant change weapons. Its just locked out. Playing on PC via Steam. Thanks.

It seems to be the same problem on ps4. I’m not sure about PC but on a controller you can solve this by simply retapping the “use tool” button with/without aiming. You can try this out if you haven’t already, hope it’ll work for you.
P.S. Also, if you hold the button a bit longer instead of tapping it to launch the drone it prevents the problem from occurring (again, on a controller). Anyway, it’s a problem that gotta be solved asap.

50 dollars for the gold version went to the trash, as it is impossible to play.
That is very good lesson for me how do businesses with Ubisoft
